A stylist once told me that you actually weaken your hair when you comb against (or back-comb it, as she calls it) the way she was doing at 0:56.. As for me, I've never liked combing my hair that way, it usually tangles.. Anyways thank goodness my hair has volume of its own and my mother taught me to do a ponytail without problems...
