ok the car is beautifully designed, great on road and as capable as a .....a regular car.. in car this size better angles could be easily achieved without spoiling its design, and for the price tag I think ppl deserve also to have a low gear diferential locks and 50 mm more of ground clearance..... why buy something expensive that was made just to look at it

This is a great looking vehicle but please, why bother with this 'off road' nonsense? I'm all for getting out and having fun in whatever you drive, but if you need spotters on a gravel road just to avoid freaking BODY DAMAGE you are out of your element.

This is a great vehicle and certainly with its merits but PLEASE enough with this off road nonsense!

Next up, off road review of the 2012 Mustang. With its solid axle rear end it makes a great rock crawler, am I right???

shouldn't there be air suspension adjustment like the previous range rovers? Least a little more ground clearence. If they do want an off roader make a separate tier for that with all those upgrades that everyone wants. ( off road parts etc.)

These things are so poor off road they need to be spotted through areas a golf cart could drive over! I think my nieces' Power Wheel Barbie Jeep is more capable off road than this thing. THis is disgusting. Maybe the yuppie elite can believe this is a true 4x4 capable vehicle, but LR isn't fooling the regular populous.

This is pathetic. RR has lost its true pedigree. There is nothing that this CAR is doing that other brands equipped with AWD or 4WD can't do. Save your money and buy a Jeep Cherokee, can be equipped to be just as luxurious AND is more capable off the road than this poor excuse for a rover. Land Rover needs to wake up and get back to their roots!

Most of these land rover owners hardly go off roading, They're too nice and way too expensive to take off roading. Most are for city driving. I own a pathfinder and I've never taken it off roading. Maybe driven on snow and snowy hills to a skiing resort. lol

Let's face it: Evoque is NOT off-road vehicle. It's fancy, very good looking...or better woooow looking 4wd street car. It has some fancy off-road candies, electronic-based, but there's no good of it when its chasis or spoiler stratches every rock on the way.

Approach angle is catastrophic, and so is the arm travel - 5-7 inches at the best? Sorry RR, but calling such a car an off-roader is somewhere between catastrophe and sabotage.

I know it's a range rover and they were always meant to be offroad, but let us be real 90% of the owners never leave pavement. So I'll give you props on actually using these SUV's, but I would not need 4wd on these conditions you tested on.

At 2:56 its really a shame that its struggling so much to cross that angle. Its not a difficult manoeuvre at all. Even a freelancer would ve managed it better. The approach angle of the RR Evoque is pathetic.
