  • their both fuel injected cars the difference between the two is that one is running alcohol/supercharged and one is running nitro and not supercharged which is naturally aspirated they make between 2500 to 3500hp.

  • we was there last night it awesome, you can hear them over the park

  • @SuperJohncenarko

august of 2008 was last night?

  • @natetheguitarkid not exactly. shudve specified that we werent at that exact event, we were at the beech bend dragstrip that night

  • @SuperJohncenarko nooo, not at that event,,,,sorry shudve stated more clearly. nhra yes, but we was at beech bend at the dragstrip but not at this one.

  • this is a 1/4 mile or 1000 ft race? 5.3 - very fast...

  • @Luzhnov08 I'd say it's a quarter mile...we have top Top Alcohol dragsters down here running 5.4's to the quarter

  • wow i want to build a car like that that damn how much a chassis

    some entertainment

  • wow i want to build a car like that that damn how much a chassis

  • so top fuel and top alcohol is different and the top fuel class is the more powerfull 1 right?

  • @chargerfish1

That is correct. They are 2 entirely different classes, and top fuel, which uses nitromethane is much more powerful.

  • @Luxornv ok thts what i thought

  • @chargerfish1 Well the car in the far lane here is also running nitro. But the difference here is that he's running the TAD class. He can do that because he's running fuel injectors (instead of carb) and no blower. These, honestly, are my favorite type of car. Injected Nitro is just a lot of fun, and sounds awesome.

  • @300Z31 The RED in the far lane..is the ONLY One of the two, that is running on pop (nitro)..the one in the Near lane is a "true" TAD...the one in the far lane is allowed to run in TAD only because it's NA (Naturally Aspirated) and the power is about the same as the TAD. The fact that he's running injectors (mechanical) has Nothing to do with it...ALL the TAD's TAF's, A / F's, T / F & AA / FC's run mechanical injection. The NA / injected fueler here, can run either as an A / F or TAD.

  • @TurbinePower69 Ok, so first: I know that only one car is running Nitro. That's what I said. And secondly, what do you mean injectors have nothing to do with it? The blown alcohol cars don't run injectors, and the N/A Injected fuelers don't run carbs. That's a pretty significant difference.

  • in the far lane is bill richert A Fuel. and near lane Marty Thacker Blown Alcohol

  • @Newburgh167 I just wanna make sure I have this right. A Fuel is a nitro injected car with no blower right?

  • @SeeNanners yes sir.

  • secretagent and flexfuel both you guys need to just exhale a bit. Dont stress out too much. This stuff is supposed to be fun. At least it is when you are on the start line.

  • i love the smell of alcohol. it's unexplainable but if they made alcohol perfume, i'd wear it lol!

  • You wouldn't like the smell of this type of alcohol. It makes your eyes water.

  • There's a little place in my heart for injected nitro cars. They are so cool.

  • Not nearly as cool as the blown alcohol cars.

I'll take the scream of a blower car blasting thru the 3 gears going down the track over the boring superchargerless drone of an A/fuel car any day.

I also love how the blower cars raise the rpms on the line. Coolest thing in racing.

Nitro cars also slow the show down since they have to sit so long and warm up before they can do a burn out.

  • I can absolutely see your point. I too love the sound/smell/sight of the blown alcohol cars, as well as the nitro cars. But the real pleasure I find in the A/fuelers is the idle. Yeah, they have to warm up a bit...but there's not many of them, so I'll take those short, but few and far between, break as a right-off.

But yeah, all of the NHRA/IHRA is exciting. Aside from maybe pro-stock...never got into them.

  • @Flexfuel306 they are supercharged take a close look at the engine before you speak plus its worth the wait to watch and hear them roar down the track

  • What the hell are you talking about? You clown. In the video, one car is blown and the other is injected nitro.

Supercharged cars sound better, end of story.

  • @Flexfuel306 it is supercharged look at the the engine

  • You're obviously blind. The car in the close lane (formerly sponsored by Torco, so must've been after Evan Knoll went broke) is a blown alcohol car. The car in the far lane, which looks to be Bill Riechert, is NOT supercharged. That is an injected nitro A Fuel car.

  • @Flexfuel306 no im not but your are obviously dumb i obviously thats the car im talking about its the only one with a super charger if the other one was it would have a blower not a scoop ass clown

  • Well you're obviously a retard or can't read since I knew from the moment I saw this video that it has a blown alcohol car and an injected nitro car. You made something out of nothing, now piss off.

My drag racing knowledge > yours, any day of the week.

  • @Flexfuel306 i race a modified dragster ass clown so no your wrong

  • A modified dragster? Hmm, last I checked NHRA and IHRA don't have a "modified" dragster class. In fact, what dragster out there ISN'T modified?

I bet you waste your time and run half track races with it too?

  • @Flexfuel306 ANDRA does and so does NZDRA im not american fuck face but when i ft the supercharger it will run in the the outlaws class and no i dont run 1/8 mile coz it's against the rules in andra i wouldn't any way it's a waste of fuel p.s YOUR WRONG

  • Oh good for you! Always nice to see an aussi carrying the torch for drag racing.

Too bad you're a fuckin idiot with no brain. You're about the equivalent of the hicks in the deep south USA who think 1/8th mile is the way drag racing should be. GTFO and go drive on the wrong side of the road.

  • @Flexfuel306 1/2 mile is real racing it's just a shame we don't have it anymore plus 1/8th mile is good for the little jr dragsters where there still learning

  • mizz this is not top fuel it is top alcohol

  • top fuel is awesome. i love larry dixon and schumacher..

  • who said this was top fuel

  • Yeah, this is Alcohol. Granted the one car is running injected nitro...but it's not a top fuel car. Also known as Federal Mogal.

  • why is it called an "alcohol dragster"?

  • It's called alcohol because they run on Methonal Alcohol. Now, the difference here is that the one car is actually running Nitro Methane, but because he's running fuel injection instead of a carb, he's allowed to compete in the Alcohol class. But yeah, it's just because they run a different type of fuel. "Top Fuel" cars run Nitro Methane, where as the "Alcohol" cars, as I said, run Methanol Alcohol.

  • And on the 8th day god made the earth rumble.
