window 7, {quick preview} dell inspiron 1440

This was my first computer.... I give it an overall 2/5 rating cause it overheats around the palm rest and it has very short battery life. The only good thing about it is price it is like 300$ but my parents got it when windows 7 was released so we got it for $500 :/

i got the same one its the ice blue version i love it but every time you buy something something new and something they say is extraordinary and better than the last and now you can buy anything apple from computers to ipods and i want the new pro but i love this laptop i am going to get a new back case to cover up the scratches in the back there is not many but still

still rocking it after 1 year! so far no problems (except the charger broke) and the battery is asking me to get a replacement

Yes. I got Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit for my Inspiron 1440 and my processor rating for the experience increased by 0.3 from Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

ye i got one for xmas. it's a pretty quick laptop. it's light as hell, and it doesn't heat up at all. really quiet, boots up pretty quick, overall very satisfied.
