@SweetyVeggie It is because of this "We've got three cats, and thus get up to 10 kitties each year, so we just can't keep them all, even though sometimes, we'd really like to ". It is not clear if your cats are spayed/ neutered or if they keep having kittens. Maybe my English is really bad and I couldn't understand what you meant. I hope those kittens are rescues and not from your cats. That's all.

My 3-year-old cat opens the screen door with its hand, but he still can't figure out how to open the cat flap door.

He seems to think it's a barbarous practice to push his way out of the flap door using his head...

I wish I could talk it out with him...

At first I thought this was the Pet Porte microchip cat flap. It looks like the same shape but there is no external microchip sensor porch!

Luchsi why not take the cats to the vet to be neutered? That would help control the number of your kittens.. I have neutered mine!

i hate to be a grump but spaying and neutering Your adult cats is a must.spaying and neutering costs 30 usd a/cat is almost painless next day they are running around after that and no more kittens !which is a pain to get adopted ..shelter in my city this year euthanized hundreds of them nobody wanted these ..soon its going to be a law ..actually in Rhode Island its a law ..and people are fined now who are breeding without license.so if You love cats ..do the right thing its easy !
