roland is very very expensive... GEM Real Piano is serious competitor... similar tech an more cheap... please Check Promega 2, 3 or RX-P module from Generalmusic, Piano Sound is really fantastic.!
First viable option since RD-1000. I wish it only looked like the RD-1000. The on the V-Piano look too plasticky, and the silver wheel just looks cheesy. Oh well, I am old. Sorry, I'd still preffer brand new RD-1000, but that's impossible, of course. Nice attempt though. The V-Piano beats the RD-500/600/700, at least to my taste. But I don't think Hiromi or Chick Corea are going to abandon their Yama "R(real)-Piano" in favor of the the V-Piano. On this video V-Piano doesn't sound real...
