  • @Ethamcz Pocoyo does not mean "little me". If it would have to be "pequeño yo" in order to mean "little me" since "poco" is a quantity modifier which is always followed by "de". As far as the origin of this show, it comes fro Spain. "Pocoyo" was invented by a mother who tried to put her son to sleep every night telling him stories. They would finish up praying a very famous prayer: "Jesusito de mi vida, eres niño como yo". Her son would pronounce "poco yo" instead, and that's the name came out.

  • @BankaiIchigo12345 It is a Spanish show, from Spain. See my comment to Ethamcz. Actually, the son would mispronounce "como yo" (like me) and say instead "poco yo". His mom decided to give this name to the imaginary character.

  • @BankaiIchigo12345 The show is from Spain. Actually, you should be surprised at the good quality of Spanish animators. Additionally, the Japanese style has been exported everywhere. You can see the anime features in cartoons from many countries around the world. In fact, the American produced animated feature film "Planet 51" is a Spanish movie. It was entirely done by animators from Spain.
