@ace2044 Well> My guitar coach had me hold the plain string. AKA: dont hold the whole bar. It's just a harder way. It really sounds the same if you don't hold the whole bar. Hope this kinda helps... LOL

A little tip for more advanced users: try using your thumb instead of your index finger to fret the 6th string on 4th fret... makes the chord a lot less awkward to the fingers.

Well, he showed you how to play the intro and then asked you to put your hand in your pocket. I could really do without this on youtube, I alway's had it down as a sharing site but there's alway's a cheap shot around. you have never used a hammer on before? i'm sorry, but i have never heard of somebody not ever doing that before in guitar playing. it's so basic and simple, really not hard

I would do them with the middle finger because it's my strongest and most accurate finger . I think you got to find the finger that works the most for you. In the end, choose either finger and training will help you achieve it.

To do the hammeron, hit the chord with the right hand (pick or finger) then hammer with the chosen finger and release immediatly the chord. It's mostly coordination between the right and the left hand, eventhough the right hand comes in only once.
