  • @ginjaninja1988 its a big difference lions and wolves need meat in there diet humans don't and getting shot by a human who could really do without the meat could be seen as more of an insult to the animal (prey) then getting attacked and eaten by another animal (predator) who's only doing what it must to survive...and just so u know im not a vegetarian i love meat

  • I love how the last clip shows a coyote, not a wolf, walking away. Poor editing.

  • They will be back!

  • Wolf:I'm back

  • The moose will win, she has a calf she will do anything to protect it. :)

  • @MsHorsegal123 nope. type in wolves vs moose and watch the first video

  • @MsHorsegal123 The Wolves will win. They probably have cubs to feed and will do anything to protect them.

  • @erlc36 Don't under estimate a cow and her calf. 1 kick can kill a wolf, I don't know but I think she will win. LOL

  • @Sk8Meowfia Hehe... I somewhat agree.

  • I find it stupid that so many vegetarian nature freaks can sit around and happily watch wolves and lions tear into animals and rip them apart to eat them but they get all up in arms about a hunter shooting an animal. Shooting an animal in its natural environment is far nicer for the animal, the meat tastes better, one gets a life time experience from it and can enjoy the outdoors while cheaply stocking the freezer. Yet we are so addicted to our supermarkets and lazy lifestyles of nothing.

  • @ginjaninja1988 ya i know!! i mean we need meat to live, simple fact right?! god said we can do anything we want with the animals, and if other animals kill it, its the same as us killing it...well u know as long as its for food i kinda think its wrong to shoot something just for compition...

  • @MermaidAndreaC So smart! We totally need meat to live! Like totally couldn't live one day without it! We'd die!

  • @ubudog32 Life based on needs alone is flavourless, dull and in a way not a life at all. To live on needs is in a way to not be human rather to be a machine. I eat meat partly because I get good dietry supplements from it, partly because it was what I was taught to do but also and mainly because I like to eat it. Its not about surviving its about enjoying and to be honest life without searing a steak on the BBQ with a beer in hand for me would not be much of a life.

  • @ginjaninja1988 Yeah, I completely agree with you there. But I just want my meat to be killed humanely. (yeah, there's gonna be some mistreatment in any kind of meat raising) I just don't want my meat to be killed by a machine, rather I like to see the farm where it comes from.

  • @ginjaninja1988 you're such a smart person. lot's of thinking you must do about things.

  • @ginjaninja1988 It is not the hunters shooting for food which makes vegetarians freak out, it's the fact that millions of animals are factorized for human consumption. There is a big difference in hunting, skinning and using the whole animal for personal use than buying a vaccumpacked steak at the local supermarket.

  • @MumiaJamal Well I would love to go out and hunt my own meat. The problem is there is a coalition of ban guns/anti hunting/green/big government types who have made it so hard to do so. You need a permit for this and a permit for that and then pay this fee and that fee and then you are free to hunt one sqaure km for a week and shoot only one animal depending on what you got in lottery. There is no way to stock the freezer with meat for a lot of people other than the supermarket.

  • @MumiaJamal lol they do use the whole carcus they just take different parts out of it for different food

Example: A Pig, someone wants bacon and the other wants hotdogs, just because you don't but the whole pig dosent mean its notbeing used matter of fact somebody next to you could be eating the same pig as you

  • @GhostForces77 Yes, i acknowledge that. But still, million of tons of meat goes to waste because companies supply more than consumers actually need. My only opinion is that living creatures shouldn't be compared to bread, clothing or any kind of material/item.

  • @ginjaninja1988 I see what you're saying--you want us all to buy a rifle and kill our own food like primitive freaks. Why not let the lions and wolves have their food, and we can have ours? Some people are too stupid to realize that humans aren't the only things trying to survive in life. Do you really want us all to become retarded Sarah Palins?

  • @tigrrr7 What a load of rubbish. Hunting does not make you Sarah Palin or retarded. And could you seriously call the industrial slaughterhouse any less primitive? Honestly I don't really care because I like steak and roast lamb; but there is certainly something more noble in hunting for yourself than buying processed meat at the supermarket. BTW there is nothing wrong with a human eating meat and owning a gun doesn't make you a primitive freak. Take your biggatory somewhere else.

  • FUCKING MOOSE FUCK YOU!

  • deadliest warrior- animal edition

  • BOOOO CLIFFHANGERS! ugh.

  • They will be back... Next Time On Dragon Ball Z

  • Moose meat is delicious!

  • why didn't the mother run when she sensed danger and why did she show no fear when they approached? that's because she's badass!

  • Comment removed

  • you know i think any moose, deer, elk, etc. would rather be eaten by wolves than have his head as a fucking decoration in some bastards house.

  • Poor Moose :(

  • fuck your 30 sec advertisments.#

  • and madeline can barely walk.. she doesnt even recognise the danger, suddenly the wolves attack slaughtering madeline and her mother, the end,

  • Sweden?

  • @SuperiorPeter

They are, in fact they're worse.

  • I think the moose should win :D

  • Boo, a non-event.

  • Crow getting high...0:05

  • my name is madeline....

  • omg yellowbellyslim! i would make a whole five more accounts just to put thumbs up on your comment!

  • Fuck the wolfs!!!!!!!!!! I hated wolf!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Julifotovideo then go watch barney you fucking ignorant moron

  • @Julifotovideo wolves kill things to survive just like everyone else, Get over it dude.

  • I hate any unfinished stories such as this one. It's like watching half of a movie.

  • @NTJedi it's not unfinished, there's many other parts to this documentary

  • @NTJedi or 1/25 of a movie

  • That was so phony and scripted. The just make the story up and clip in the footage to suit the story. The mother didn`t even hit the wolf or kick it, Lame and fake . They can not hear two miles away. Maybe if it was thunder.

  • that was sort of an anti-climax -_-

  • Wolf- "how the fuck could you smell me from that distance?!"

    Moose- "i don't know. I just don't know."

  • the moose has a really big nose!

    i love wolves

  • my most favorite animal

    THE WOLF! dun dun duuuunn

  • "[...] the strongest must rule if we are to survive". - Darth Malak. ^.^

  • thenoblequran (Ctrl+Enter)

  • Pointless video

  • WOLFPAC FOR LIFE.

  • People reckon wolves and other carnivores killing for their survival is cruel, but think of it this way..

Humans abuse and give cruelty to animals throughout the world. That's a lot worse than what mother nature can do - like in this video.

  • cliff hanger ending is a cliff hanger..... -_-

  • Madeline is dead now ! Along with 90,000 Elk , the Wolf Intr into Yellowstone has been a total failure and an economic disaster for the states that border this "Bad Neighbor" , Yellowstone ! With the fall of Egypt we will also see the begining of the end of this "Nightmare " The Environmental Movement . Budget Cuts and Drilling will insure a brighter future for the next generation of Madelines !

  • @TheFreecoyote I hope you are joking. Or being sarcastic. Oh, please.

  • @gjgkhgjfhgjklhklhglj - Oh I'm not kidding at all ! The Moose and Elk have been slaughtered and everyone watched it on the discovery Channel !

  • what the fuck was that?? see more action at the fucking zoo

  • that film sucked in heal there was no killing

  • Hey BBC ASSHOLES, istead of getting off by filming animals being killed, why don't you come to their rescue? Why do you guys just love to see defenseless animals being killed when you can make a difference? And don't give me that nature crap. If you truely believed in nature taking it's course, you would not go to physicians and just let nature take it's course with your body. Help animals and prevent this crap that you get off on! ASSHOLES

  • @LAFD54 Dude, you're a carnivore yourself. Stop complainting, and let nature go on. Without the wolves, elk will overpopulate, ultimately leading to a great famine among the elks, and eventually death. Better to die, when you actually help someone survive, than simply dying by famine?

  • @LAFD54 Why do the wolves have any less a right to life than the moose do? If the BBC crew helped the moose they would prevent the wolves from getting their food, and they'd starve. They're already malnourished as it is, the calories they expend hunting need to be replenished. I assume you're vegetarian or vegan and that's fine, but don't be so naive as to think that nature functions the way you want it to or that BBC should or have any right to intervene in a wolf hunt.

  • Seeing these animals doing what they do is always cool. I live in Northern Ontario and it's not uncommon to see wolves or moose. What is truly amazing is the fact that camera person(s) captured this event. For those of you who haven't been in the wild much......it'd be like getting a good picture of a song bird at an empty feeder with a couple of your neighbour's cats sitting below. GREAT job!!

  • not all of the wolves though. if she is kicking one the others can attack

  • She can handle these wolves just fine, i have seen this in real life in AK. one kick and the wolf is finished, as long as the calf stays where she tells her all will be well , the cow is far from in danger , no snow no worrys

  • all about finding the balance between predators and prey so that neither overpopulate. Simple.

  • Coyote edit

  • thumbs up if your sick of people saying thumbs up

  • thumbs up if u hate those damn youtube comercials -.-

  • @yellowbellyslim what i need to do if im surrounded by a pack of wolves?

  • That was a beautiful video and a hauntingly beautiful song, you did an amazing job, and I loved it. I have always loved, admired, and respected the wolf. I hate when wolves are hunted, but I understand that sometimes the pack needs to be downsized so that there is enough game and the packs don't hunt farmer's livestock. I also find it comforting that some dead wolves are examined be scientists to see if they have any communicable diseases that could threaten the pack.

  • I hate how wolves are still killed out of fear, hatred, and misinformation. Wolves are a "keystone species" everything lives off a wolf kill. The herds of Caribou, Elk, Moose, and Deer have a better chance of surviving now that a sick or injured member is dead. The plants and trees have a chance to grow big and strong without the herds eating all the little shrubs before they have a chance to grow, and after a wolf pack has fed on the carcass, other animals feed on it and live.

  • Wolves, Coyote Starrk's zanpakuto,

  • Wolves. God's most beautiful creation.

  • @Zmaj747 I FREAKIN AGREE!!!!!

  • @Zmaj747 You've forgotten about me.

  • @TheScumper What do you mean?

  • @Zmaj747 I am God's most beautiful creation!

  • @TheScumper Yeah sure buddy

  • @Zmaj747 Fucking no

  • @OutdoorDreamer733 Get lost.

  • @wolfhybrid900 Get a life.

  • @OutdoorDreamer733 You first.

  • @wolfhybrid900 LOL okay.

  • @Zmaj747 If you look past the baby-killing, yes. Life itself is beautiful, and you can't get mad at the wolves for wanting to eat. Doesn't stop me from rooting for Madeline though!

  • @Zmaj747 how is it beautiful?

  • @Zmaj747 lol, you beleve in god

  • @xXGreyWolf lol you troll youtube

  • @SrgSeamen LOL. You think you're praying to god, you're actually just talking to yourself

  • Its a balanced system. By removing predators, you allow the weak and the sick to live. By introducing predators, the stronger prey will live. That is how nature works, its not inhumane, its nature

  • omg omg omg omg I <3 wolves omg omg omg omg I <3 wolves omg omg omg omg I <3 wolves omg omg omg omg I <3 wolves

P.S Including my Youtube username is named after my Wolf Quest username

  • this video is dumb i was expecting to see some thing get attacked

  • @ nikkirandomgee

You´re absolutely right!Humans always try to make them look cruel but in fact people are...they should better show how awful men are while killing eachother or animals.I`ve never seen animals doing such things!!!

    by jacky

  • @Wessiiii I've watched and tracked wolves in the wild at a wilderness awareness school. I've seen a pack brutally kill a coyote and leaving the entire body to rot in the snow. They didn't eat it because the pack just felt like killing it. It happens in nature whether you see it or not. It just so happens that your around more humans than wolves, and we have a thing called media. We are apart of nature. Why do less people see that?

  • I fucking hate adverts

  • @221nixon Point is, they don't. Let people utilize the land, just as they have in the past. What you are missing is the PEOPLE issue. Many people rely on public land for grazing. If they are overgrazing, then that is a problem to be dealt with by the government. Use the land for everybodies benefit. Besides, in my state, we have lots of wildlife, due to the fact that hunter dollars support it. Of course, the wolves are changing that now.....

  • @221nixon Keep in mind that many of those areas were areas where bighorns were TRANSPLANTED and probably not native in the first place. Hey, I agree domestic sheep can spread disease to wild sheep, sure. Public land, however, is Public, and that means that other people besides the backpackers can use it. That includes the cattleman and sheepman. Sure, they can limit grazing in some areas like where wild sheep are found, but to close it to grazing is ridiculous. People need to make a living.

  • i can fight a wolf pack solo 7v1 bring it

  • im tired of these vids were they dont show them fuck each other up!!!

  • OMG MADELINE NOOOOOO!

  • I love how the writers try to humanize the animals and make the wolves seem like ruthless fiends who are trying to mangle and maim the innocent baby moose. It's nature, the wolves are trying to survive just as much as the moose are. I'm sure those wolves too have small, defenseless pups waiting for them to come back with food so they don't starve to death...

  • omg Madeline get it together

  • People shot cows in the head. I watched a video and they ung them from the ceiling and slit their throats leaving them to bleed to death. I dont know maybe what i saw was out of date.

  • SNAILS pwn wolves. want proof, people?

  • To everyone complaining about the wolves being "wrongly represented", this special is about a MOOSE. If you were a moose then wolves would be your enemies too. Why do you think Tom was always the villain to Jerry?

  • Heheh, it looks more like footage of coyotes and moose, with wolf clips thrown in. Documentaries and TV shows do this sort of thing all the time. The point is to tell a story that is believable, yet interesting; showing everything as-is would not bring in many viewers at all.

  • They'll be back...(:

    GO WOLVES

  • Mother nature can be ruthless sometimes. But animals do what they need to to survive. And most the time if left undesturbed by my thinks work out the way they should. You need both predator and prey to maintain balance. No kill in the wild go unused. I laugh how people say introducing wolf back into the wild in unnatural and destroys the area. Cattle are the only thing unnatural in North America. They were brought over by settlers. If your worried about your cows buy 8 Great Pyranees.

  • i have a pet wolf i got him from a human soceity hes my life hes 16 months and his name is sam hes about 84 pounds:)

  • @breakingdawn611

The last women who had pet wolves, and raised them, got slaughtered by them when they grew up. Not kidding.

  • Humans learnt the art of war from Wolves. Wolves do a lot of good, They keep the natural balance of things in the wild.

  • @laikhambrgr

You mean that humans are peaceful until the wolf came along? Doesn't that make the wolf the most evil creature on earth to teach such a horrible thing like that?

and by the way, wolves are not gods, they are just another animal.

  • @NativeInuPup I did not say that humans were peaceful until they met the wolf. (And for your information, the Wolf has been here long before the modern human.)

Human's learnt the art of war from wolves. Early humans were nomads, a nomads worst enemy is a wolf. Everyday and night you fight wolves. You begin to mimic their tactics. Look at the Huns, the Mongols, the Parthians, The early Spartans. They all revered Wolves, as Gods.

  • @laikhambrgr

Wow..they must have been VERY desperate, then. 0-o

  • @NativeInuPup No you ignorant fool. If someone has a better way of doing something, you try to emulate it. Grow up.

  • @laikhambrgr

    Someone isn't happy today. =)

  • @NativeInuPup Lol actually I'm rather happy.

I can see from your previous comments that you have something against wolves. If you don't like something, just leave it or ignore it. Don't come here and start arguments.

You can reply to me but I shan't waste more time replying to you.

  • @laikhambrgr

Dude, there are a LOT of people who love wolves, but also have similar thinking to what you said.

Just because I don't go something like "OMG! THE WULF IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND MAJESTIC!" doesn't mean I hate it -_-'

  • is it wrong that I wanted the wolves to win?

  • Wolves have almost deciminated all moose in the yellowstone ecosystem. 1990, 1200 moose in the yellowstone ecosystem. 2010, 114 moose left. What a shame!

  • @Mont556n excuse me, but do u have any proof that wolves are responsible forthat? and i dont want i read it on a website or my hunting buddy told me i want proof that those 1200 moose were all killed by wolves

  • @massakur hmmm, how about.....THE LACK OF MOOSE! Hunting of moose is strictly regulated and the number of tags in each district is down to almost nonexistant. Before wolves, moose fine. With wolves, few moose left. What other proof do you want? Not global warming, or lack of food. Moose are doing fine in all areas WITHOUT WOLVES. In areas with wolves, on major declines. Those YNP moose may become extinct in another 10 years.

  • @Mont556n Where is your PROOF that the lack of moose is without a doubt caused by wolves? There are mAny other things that kill moose, but you seemed certain that that the lack of moose was solely caused by wolves. If you could provide actual proof that wolves are solely reasponsible for the lack of moose, I will take a look at it. All you are doing is assuming somethig and you expect gullable people to believe you. I want proof, not an assumption.

  • If the moose are almost decimated, wouldn't it take a lot less than 10 years for them to be decimated completely? where are you getting that 10 year #? have you opened your mind up at all to the possibility that other things kill moose than just wolves alone?

  • @massakur Another prowolf idiot who cannot see the truth in front of your eyes. Do we have to go out and find every stingle wolf kill of a moose? Thats about impossible. How about we try this. Exterminate the wolf from the yellowstone ecosystem and see what happens to moose numbers?

  • @Mont556n No, you are assuming wolves are the main cause for the moose decline, but thank you for proving my point, you have no proof what so ever. You are just assuming wolves are the main cause. Fuck off. A typical hunter who is anti predator. You people never cease to amaze me. You think the wildlife is there for you to kill. Learn how to share with the predators you stupid motherfucker!

  • @massakur Hey ass pirate, are you gona make death threats like you did years ago to me again? Oh wait thats right, you only have about 20 other channels.. LMFAO!

  • @sportbikeandhunter You stalking ass faggot? Where you been? Do you want me to continue owning your queer ass like I did months ago?

  • @massakur LMFAOAY!!!! Where have i been? besides getting a wolf licence, nothing much.. just killing some animals i guess... You never owned me... If i remember correctly i had your sorry asss running for the hills because you threatened people

  • @massakur Hey ass pirate when are you gonna unblock me so i can continue my reign of ownage on you?? Oh wait i do that enough on the rest of your channels..LFMAOAY!!!

  • @massakur It's funny how they say wolves are causing the death of elk and deer in Idaho, when the elk population grew 5% and the deer even more.

  • @nikkirandomgee These fucking morons don't get that wolves have to kill in order to live another day.

  • @massakur Just like any other human (unless they're a vegiterian).

  • @massakur Wolves are the cause. What else has changed in the ecosystem? Nothing. More prowolf propaganda by an idiot in love with a killer! Waste of time talking to idiots.

  • @massakur Wolves are the problem. Reality is something you people cannot accept. We don't need wolves in the lowere 48. There was a reason we got rid of them in the first place. Nice language by the way. Typical of the pro wolf type found on the net. Lucky you never met me in person and said that.....

  • @Mont556n WE NEED WOLVES!

  • @Mascarinasreigina1 Sure, need them in canada and alaska, there are THOUSANDS of them there. We don't need them down here!

  • @Mont556n You have already proven that you trully dont care for either species and rather have us humans who dont need meat to survive kill 7000 animals in are life time, while wolves dont kill nearly as much even though they NEED to, to survive. Do the math 6.9Billion x 7000.

  • Comment removed

  • @Mont556n We need wolves you idiot their part of a balanced ecosystem. If I ever meet you expect a punch in the face.

  • @Lionlvr5 bring is on......

  • @Mont556n sounds like you´re some dumbass FAKE hunter who thinks wolves are competition, get a fucking life, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM, just stay home and keep on beating off to sarah palin...^_-

  • @hatsudai69 "fake hunter" Ha Ha, best you got? Consider this. In 1995, there were 1200 moose in the yellowstone ecosystem. In 2010, the winter count was 114! There is NO HUNTING allowed in the park. Will moose go extinct in the park due to wolf predation? Who knows. I will side with the hunters on this issue. Hunting brings in DOLLARS that help all species. All wolves do is destroy wildlife and there are many, many examples of this.

  • @Mont556n the wolf IS wildlife, the only one destroying it is MAN!

wolves will always choose, the sick and weak as, prey, thereby strengthening life and upholding the natural balance, hence no "hunting" is needed. so just stop shooting, protect and respect nature and moose will be just fine!

  • @hatsudai69 You missed the point. Putting nonnative canadian wolves that are use to a larger prey species into yellowstone was insanity. Moose there may very well go extinct to this experiment. Hunting is a viable way to keep wildlife numbers in balance and creates many jobs for people. PEOPLE now live in the area and are part of the ecosystem whether you like it or not. This is also part of the cuture of the people who live in the area and will contiue to be so.

  • @Mont556n i have to admit i´m not from there and did not know that the canadian wolf was any much from the wolf that originally lived there before we exterminated them. i am from germany where the is a in some ways similar situation. recently a few wolf had returned to germany and are protected, but many hunters want them shot, because they consider them competition. we have no shortage of deers, boars and rabbits though... do people hunt moose in yellowstone?

  • @Mont556n just found out that hunters shoot moose in yellowstone, so i guess thats the problem, not the wolves

  • @hatsudai69 Nope. its a national park. No hunting is allowed although some areas around there use to have several permits for moose. That had to be cut back because of lack of moose due to wolf predation. The few moose tags issued have no effect on the population.

  • @Mont556n so how many wolfs live there? i can understand you better now,

but i keep finding different opinions on this. i agree though that this is probably not a black or white issue

  • @hatsudai69 ok, a little reason, nice to see. we have over 600 wolves in our state now. We were told we would have a maximum of 120, mostly associated with yellowstone national park. We said ok. Then the environmentalist sued to stop hunting them, and we now have major livestock losses including cows, horses, and sheep being eaten by wolves. Our hunting industry is suffering due to elk numbers plummeting to levels never seen since the 30s.

  • for wolves its kill or be killed. ask urself what woulld u do?

  • its crazy how as soon as the wolf population rose some states made it legal to hunt them again

  • @jrrydha the wolf population rose some, but so did the elk... 5% actually.

  • @jrrydha

In Idaho, it rose, but so did the elk population by 5%...

  • @jrrydha Because they didn't want to send a recovering population right back to the brink of extinction.

  • Wolves are amazing creatures, without them, Elk and Caribou will overpopulate, thats why Amythest Mountain was made to protect the wolves. bcuz oonce they had been wiped out from amythest mountain, the elk and the moose and the caribou made it seem like a farm rather then a preserve, so they brought the wolves back and more people came. learned that in Social Studies few months ago :3

  • @Kikoisinusgirl

Yes, BUT, there are animals out there, believe it or not, that are smarter and stronger than wolves.

  • The ones who support one or the other (wolf or moose) didn't understand ANYTHING of the nature and, standing outside of it, deserve to leave.

  • that moose would have(if needed)

stomped that wolf until it stopped moving.

    moose 1.wolf 0

  • um...wow

  • Comment removed

  • @CelesAura Moron!

  • @CelesAura

I think moose pwn wolves. They are much more peaceful and pretty.

  • "SHOW ME A MOOSE!"

  • Wow, go mama! she is HUGE!

  • why do people make wolves hunting look bad? its just them hunting... its just like us killing a cow... unfortuanatly we hang them from a cealing and shoot them in the head, so the wolf is alot better then us

  • @nikkirandomgee You mean shredding them with teeth as opposed to a quick and painless bullet to the head? But yeah I get what you mean, its nature, its in their instincts. If the moose didn't die, then the wolves would, and so on.

  • ya... but im pretty sure if they could shoot a cow in the head they would do it instead of hurting it...

  • @nikkirandomgee time we started chewing them to death over the course of an hour i guess to be more humane like the wolf

  • @nikkirandomgee what are you talking about? We don't hang cows from ceilings and shoot them...... where ever your from must be one screwed up place

  • @Airborne4headshot alot of places do... not around my place, but ive seen alot of places that do in books and crap...
