Yikes, this vid. is brutal. Not just because of its general cheapness etc, but also because it cuts off the last 1m 20s of the song! That misses the song's payoff: the great backing vox that come in, Mills' high harmony, and so on. This was just before the video age really came into full swing. Just after this, if you wanted a record deal, you needed to look really really "video ready". Stephanie ain't video ready, same as Evelyn Champagne King.... and that's why their record sales dipped and disappeared. Most artists (with the exception of a few) are all very good looking. (rap is the exception to this, as rap is supposed to look HARD).
