  • His friend URINE?

  • YOU"RE RUBBISH MATE!!!!

  • Blah

  • Not very good

  • My last pc shit the bed, what the fucks he on, lmao

  • @razzamanaz79 English slang, get with it.. so is "wank"

  • This pedal is sick, it helps you figure out what sounds and what notes can be combined or intertwined, check out one of my video's

  • VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY USEFUL !!!!!!!

  • finally an English person doing music product analysis.... as opposed to "so uhhhhhh, im gonna playing on my dd-3 by boss...im like yer so gonna ummm uhhhh play some shit gitarrrr " nice one...still prefer the mxr tho or even a reel echo. you should try out the roland space echo 'n all. shit the bed ... HA, thats a proper radiohead vibe tho. And British slang for masburbation? It's slang for just about anything... ya mums ass is wank. x

  • GReat pedal dude.

  • what does "Lmao" mean? i've seen that in a lot of videos

  • @Xavimanjazz laughing my ass off ...i think

  • Nice. Always love some bloc party, particularly So Here We Are.

  • It's kinda, maybe useful if you're bloc party or whatever.

    Love this guy

  • mike - great reviews -most of these nobs who comment dont realise you build your own pedals and they sound great too - rock on

  • Mmmm fucking out of tune

  • is it worth getting the dd7? i just want it to sound good, less knobs is more fun :D

  • why can't people just get along. who cares how the guy acts in his videos. just listen to how the pedal sounds and move on. i don't understand why people get so emotionally charged by someone they will probably never meet. if you don't like the review find a better one cuz theres tonnes out there. a negative comment isn't going to change how good or bad the review is. just a thought

  • Shut up all, I'm Mexican.

  • It would be nice if you actually played something melodic to demonstrate the pedal. What was that crap you were playing?

  • I wish we said "shit the bed" in the US

  • oh man i definitely have to get one of these, great review man,and its so nice to see a review thats not participating in the youtube guitar skills pissing contest and just getting to the point.

  • digitech is gay, boss rules!

  • DD3 delay + CH1 chorus = eargasm. the perfect pedal combination.

  • "that's to make my guitar in tune"

  • shit the bed is the phrase ever..

  • Good news!!!

Boss DD-3 Has 40% Discount NOW!!!!

    go to w w w . cheapbuy-online . c o m / boss-dd3

    quickly on this month!!!!

  • And dave martone

  • I have my dd3 sighned by micheal angelo batio

  • @AngelicWhiteMetal If you have an amp, I would recommend a line 6 m9/ m13. If you don't, a POD might do just right for you. I reckon if you have the money, you could get the individual pedals and go that route. That tends to be more expensive though, depending on how deep you go into it.

  • @AngelicWhiteMetal Yeah, i believe that's pretty much across-the-board true as for multi-effects units compared to the pedals the units are modeling. It's all about what you like and what sounds good to you. Don't let someone talk you out of the ME-70 if you've tried other options and still like it. Anyway, maybe I would be able to help you on terms of finding what you would like. So are you looking for the basics? (overdrive/dist., delay, reverb?)

  • I like The Boss DD-7 delay is better than the DD-3

  • @AngelicWhiteMetal First: "most popular" is debatable. They're the first line pedals I heard of, when i became a pedALphile about two- three years ago. As far as 'best quality', in short no. They do have some good pedals that they currently make. Most people who like boss like discontinued or Made In Japan models. What pedals are you looking for?

  • cool vid, is it possible to recreate like eating glass by bloc party with this pedal?

  • shit the bed lol

  • does the volume weaken when the pedal is engaged? (volume drop)

  • the long delay... beautiful =]

  • Didn't this guy say he had something to keep his guitar in tune at the beginning of the video?

  • wow, why do brits hate on yanks so much? All they talk about is how arrogant yanks are, when they're from a country called GREAT Britain, the Amazing United States, how does that sound?

  • @HitaroX this just highlights the whole arrogant yank thing. if you bothered to do any research before quoting the name of this country, you would know that Great Britain refers to a time when the British empire owned 1/4 of the world. Great's original meaning is big. Meaning Great Britain refers to its size. or ex-size, before we gave it all away anyway.

  • @chalum30 Lol, first of all, I'm not even yank, I'm spanish. My point is that brits are pretty racist, you always hate on yanks especially. And then the things Top Gear said about Mexicans, it was funny but I felt like they were quite serious. And another thing, if you can tell, this guitarist isn't that great, it sounds like he's been playing no more than 2 years, and his guitar is slightly out of tune. Remember, all a country is, is a piece of land with a name.

  • @HitaroX You are quite the idiot. Playing time does not matter what-so-ever. Someone who has been playing for 2 months could quite possibly be much better then someone with expirience of 45 years. It all depends on how much you play. He demo'd this DD-3 very well. I give him credit. People think just cause there sitting on there computer it gives them the right to be rude to people? You could still be a decent person you know, but no, your immature. No one appriciates your comments.

  • @MrIbanezz1 You might be right but let let's talk realistically here, more years is more time for practice, some people have it as their main hobby, others as a minor perk. Anyway other than that you're pretty spot on, excuse my ignorance so far on this video.

  • Would you mention what guitar do you use when you demo your pedals? thats really important too i think

  • @mewsic156

The delay time on the adventure is approx 320ms. Hope That helps =D

  • How would i set the pedal to like The Adventure by Angels and Airwaves?

  • dude i dont know what u guys are talking about this guy is funny as hell

  • what the fuck is a WANK?!?!?!?!

  • @milkeatscereal a jerkoff

  • @milkeatscereal masturbation

  • @milkeatscereal masterbation!!! :D

  • @milkeatscereal The British slang for masturbation/ to masturbate ....

  • @milkeatscereal go to tubestack and type in wank

  • 2:30 STREETS!!!!!

  • Sounds like he should have used that tuner pedal...

  • How is the dd5 in terms of versatility, reliability and sound? How about the line 6 dl4?

  • nice blue light cover. :D

  • silver sun!

  • Boss DD-3 or DD-6?? Thats the question.

  • @destihado1 Get the dd-7 for more options, get dd-3 if you don't need all that options. Cheers! :D

  • 6:30 you are god!

  • 4:55 what were you doing!

  • en el min 1.50 !!

  • aki en mi video ago un solo con el dd-3 delay..pedal muy recomendable para heavy metal!!

  • I'm getting this for Xmas hopefully, along with my ESP LTD M-300FM

  • I like those 1/4" pedal connector cables with telephone cord extension who makes them?

  • great set up

  • can this work with a bass guitar?

  • @zachthemusefan u can get a simmiler one

  • I see you like Bloc Party from your videos

  • fail

  • can you use this pedeal for a bass guitar?

  • @chpthncook37 it's the pedal Chris from Muse used in his rack for Showbiz & Origin of Symmetry, so yeah :D

  • @chpthncook37 definitely

  • sounded awful

  • Whats the name of the song at 1:20? Sounds so familiar anyone?

  • i remember the first time i tried this at guitar center, i self oscillated it like at 6:30 and it scared the shit out of me because it was so loud. ahh, the memories. this pedals on it's way to my house atm :D

  • sounds like sh*t

  • @unreal987

because the guitar is out of tune

  • does this one let you tap in dotted eighths

  • @KClock3r

no, i think only starting with boss dd6

  • @KClock3r OH GOD FORBID!

  • SHIT THE BED.

  • Lmao you watch all these pathetic yanks trying to be all professional with these gear reviews and just sounding like complete tools and the first british reviewer i come to opens with that! Classic lol.

  • @vincentinogitash LMAO fuckin yank wankas just a bunch of cunt knobheads!

  • @vincentinogitash

lol, brits and yanks are one in the same, except that one group has an irritating accent, and the other group is retarded

  • @ZOMBIELANDakaUSA No they're both america hahaha

  • @vincentinogitash

actually both brits. Hey didn't Australia start off as a prison/dumping ground for the crown, and/or all their trash and deviates?

  • @ZOMBIELANDakaUSA Yeah and the rest fucked off to your pathetic shithole along with all the potato famished micks. Where did you get Australia from anyway?

  • @vincentinogitash

where did we go wrong? let's make up...

  • @vincentinogitash your a bitch

  • @TheFunnyzach And you fail at simple grammar. Hahahahahaha faggot.

  • @vincentinogitash hahaha yeah, my bro took my laptop, so no hard feelings

  • @vincentinogitash Andy from proguitarshop makes the best demos and hes from the states...sorry, but fail sir.

  • @teamhex Sorry, but fuck off and watch those then. Americans just love the sound of their own voices too much, they just drone on and on and on and about fuck all and by which time i've not only lost interest the product but in humanity itself.

  • @vincentinogitash Dude your shit talking people that review shit by country..I happen to think your a fucking "wanker" for saying that, and you full of shit to say this guy does the best reviews. No one is shit talking the video, im telling you my opinion after you fucking bashed everyone else's reviews. How retarded are you people? I thought my own country was bad, but how dense can one be.

  • @teamhex Did i say anywhere that this guy does the best reviews? No. Now you look like a dick, well done.

  • @vincentinogitash You clearly think that your people are superior reviewers......so in a nutshell, that's exactly what you say. You clearly think people that put some production into their videos are pissing into the wind.

"Lmao you watch all these pathetic yanks trying to be all professional with these gear reviews and just sounding like complete tools and the first british reviewer i come to opens with that! Classic lol."

  • @teamhex Nope yanks just talk complete shit and annoy me, their pathetic gay accents also make me want to start hacking into my balls with a cheese grater. They take themselves too seriously, I'm not saying no British reviewers do, but I wish more had such a layed back attitude towards it as this guy. I don't watch many reviews because i possess the ability to decide things for myself, still, give me any other nationality talking about anything than an american anyday.

  • @vincentinogitash I agree with you -- all yanks wank !

  • Coneon man almmmmooooossssstt got so here we are

  • Tune up, please.

  • Mike, you're awesome!

  • hey everyone whats the main differences between the dd-3 and the dd-7???

  • Mono and stereo...

  • @Musicunseen95 the dd-3 is a more basic delay with 3 modes (short, medium and long), whereas the dd-7 has a few more effects such as an analogue emulation, reverse and modulation

  • i want both just to play some reggae and ska

  • the DD3 will use too much power to use on a daisy chain power supply. I know from experience.

  • @taariqtaariq I've been using a DD3 with a chain power supply years

  • @PRCIzzy69

try what a DD3 sounds like with just one power pack not a daisy chain. You might notice a difference.

  • to play reggae I must buy a boss delay or a reverb ??

  • @3301pepe nope, you can play reggae with any nice clean sound... but some reverb or delay never hurts, but don't limit yourself to boss products. They sound good, but they certainly aren't the best.

  • @progAGguitar

agreed but boss are reliable and more affordable than some of the really cool top end 'boutique ' stomp boxes .

  • your voice sounds exactly like Blur's front man Damon Albarn

    *a big grin*

  • What kind of delay would i need for solos and stuff? Like, to add more sustain if you get me..

  • big ROFLMAO !

  • Love love love this pedal! So expensive though =(

  • 4:55 can the boss dd7 do that kind of stuff?

  • @Teutonic1250 they're both delays, so you should be able to, the DD-7 allows you to set it up with an expression pedal with allows for some very crazy effects

  • haha you kick ass you badass motherfucking brit

  • thank god! actually no joke i'm so happy to find a demonstrator who isn't able to/bothered about having a wank on his guitar. someone who plays simple stuff that demonstrates the pedal and not their own technique. top marks - luv ur presentation style too :)

  • Playing in dotted eighth notes with the dd-3 is the best way to go. It was like built for dotted eighth notes. I just picked up that pedal and I love it so much. its a great pedal. U2 has used it and Angels and Airwaves uses it full time.

  • 1:08 lol :D

  • ha, your friend urine. what kind of name is that?

  • man where did you get those curly patch leads?? :D

  • at all the people that got angry.i was only taking the piss.much respect to anyone who takes time out to do a review of any guitar pedals.

  • Excellent! Any idea if this would work with a keyboard? Such as the Moog Little Phatty? I'm slightly unsure about effect pedals with keyboards.

  • Tiny Terror amp! Nice choice I have one too and use it on stage. It is the best amp I've ever had.

  • i know the song your trying to play at 2 mins in.... but it kinda failed lol... anyway whats the song called....

  • @Jack1685 its

"so here we are" from Bloc Party

  • "my last PC shit the bed" at first i thought someone actually shit a bed hahaha funny as hell

  • Whats the difference between the DD-3, the DD-6, and the DD-7?

  • dude you are the shit,

i like how you arn't "rub it in your face good" you are just like the rest of us, but i love the sound.

Good job mate, this makes me wanna go buy both pedals.

  • so here we are!

  • You've been outta action cos you've been too busy pullin ya puddin...admit it mate.

  • Hi, how much is this pedal?

  • Shit the bed...........Um great language

  • nice funny voices

  • Comment removed

  • Obviously they are not exactly the same, but the Behringer is a clone of the Boss. Obviously the Boss is better. If you are considering the Behringer because it costs less, I suggest saving up for this.

  • I did not know that. Thanks for the advice. As of right now, I am winning a Behringer on Ebay. But I will save up to buy the Boss.

  • im new to the whole pedal-board thing as i am going to buy some pedals and make one and i was was wondering does this come with a power supply? and how could i get power to all of my potential pedals?

  • @soldat182 also could they run on batteries? (boss pedals) and EHX big muff pi USAs as well

  • they dont come with the power supply but you can get a boss psa-240 power supply, for about 25 quid. if you get a boss tuner you can plug from the wall into that, then you can get a daisy chain lead that will go from the tuner into upto 8 other pedals.. x

  • Most pedal boards don't come with power supply's. You can build a pedal board pretty cheaply, although it might not be worth your effort, because you can knab a nice one for under $50, but the power supply is what will get you. For the most common ones check out the Voodo Lab or the Dunlop Brick.

  • @soldat182 boss dont come with power, which they shud.. but anyways.. get a boss psa 9v adaptor for 25 euro and get a daisy chain for a tenner and it will power 6 pedals

  • 3:54 - morse code :D

  • shit the bed

  • Buy a boss tuning pedal!

  • self oscillation.... is that was aol was doing?;p

  • A little harsh perhaps but sometimes these things have to be said :D

  • @trucula learn to shut your mouth before someone cuts your tongue out

    :D

  • can a delay pedal be used to just fatten up your tone?

  • yes

  • @infinityjet

yes only if you use a very short delay like the late jeff healy did . The Chorus with the dd3 gives you a fab clean sound.

  • "my last PC shit the bed" class!!!

  • Comment removed

  • ce-3

  • I had this pedal but couldn't bond with it I much prefer analog delay, check out the polychorus.

  • 0:32 hahahahhahahahaha

  • Hey, i have a question. I own one of these and am playing through a Marshall JCM 2000 TSL 100. The delay sounds absolutely fantastic thru the clean channel, but when playing thru crunch or lead it gets this sort of feedback sound, and isn't very clear sounding.

Is there a way I can get it too sound nice, or would it be the pedal i'm using?

  • AC--->DC ????

  • 8 dotted delay? is that possible on dd-3

  • yo mike, nice video again, quick question - why do some bands use up to 2 delay pedals? (like a dd3 and a dd7)???

    I have a dd7, im thinking of getting a dd3...

  • its simple they need to have two to get different counteractions in that echoing efeect, and mostly to get that diffrent reverb effect

  • I hear that these things can achieve a 'sitar' kind of sound. Is there anyone who has showcased this?

  • 50 milliseconds mode, level all the way up time where you want to put it and feedback at 3 or 4 o clock... hope this works it sounds nice but it is not exactly as I think you imagine it so don't expect that much

  • You can get this sound by putting a cable in the 'direct out' jack and not connecting it to anything.

  • what marshall amp is that ?10W?15W?

  • @IBZ93GRG250P amp ? don't you mean cab ?
