  • they are so cute!! They all look so different

  • Ringo looks so cute here. The shorter his hair, the better, I think.

  • What a song a performance!

  • 1:44 This is how I dance, sometimes...

  • my beatles song of the day!

  • i love how paul, tells the woman, "ill get you" and gives her the nod, dude knew he was a MACK all the way back then!

  • I really like this video. This is one of my favorite songs from the first disk of the Beatles Past Masters album. The lovely singing of "Imagine I'm in love with you" and "I'll get you in the end" are really appealing for the fan girls that have crushes on them. The word "Imagine" reminds of an awesome song John sang when he was much older. BTW I like 60s mainly for the Beatles, and the 70s mainly for John Denver. I am not really into conteporary music.

  • Who's playing the harmonica in the beginning?

  • Great music!!!

  • Ok possible trivia - is the hep cat shaking his head at the end of the video Eric Burdon of The Animals?

  • @wheresjeannineSF You're right! Haha, thanks for pointing that out! :D

  • THE BEATLES THE BEST ARTISTS OF ALL TIME

  • @fodgd ooo yess you know..!

  • rangerscowgirls...im 58 years oldand there has NEVEREVER beenagreater band than the beatles.

  • Even from these old videos,John still make me weak in the knees when he looks in the camera & smiles.

  • The Beatles are amazing!

  • There have been claims that the guy doing the crazy dancing is Eric Burdon of The Animals... I have looked at some footage of E.B. about two years after this, and, although there is a good similarity, I don't think it's him. Anyone got any ideas or proof?

  • It's not very well known but this was actually written by Brian Epstein as a dedication to John. The original title was 'I'll Get You In the End'!

  • Evidently they sang along to the record.

  • As playon51 implied, this is NOT live. They're miming to the studio recording. Oh well.

  • Is the kid at 1:43 having a seizure? lol

  • The girl said "you will" after Paul said the next song is I'll Get You

  • Reply to TheBeatles 153 - [the reply button won't respond]. It was Ready Steady Go - on every Friday evening. It was ITV's answer to Top of the Pops on the Beeb. The usual presenter Keith Fordyce [nice man, but a bit stuffy] must have been on his hols and Dusty Springfield stepped in.

  • By the way, what show were they playing here?

  • not live

  • If it's live, who's playing harmonica while John is singing?

  • paul es tan GUAPOOOOOOOOOOO ♥.♥

  • This footage is live the recording is not. Great example of lip-syncing. This is the studio recording.

  • Great example of lip-syncing. This is the studio recording.

  • Paul and John are sooo hawt <3

  • Perhaps the only video where George is playing this Rickenbacker model.. Does anyknow know the name of it? I always forget it

  • who is playing the harmonica?? i'm guessing it's not really live?

  • @CaseyHutchison

Ur ryt it's just like a music video. My father told me that if u look @ their guitars it's unplugged.

And it's only a lipsync. However it's a Great Song from the Greatest Band Ever. THE BEATLES!!

    Cheers! :)

  • @CaseyHutchison

well, that's not live, but it seems like Ringo is doing his job with the drums.

  • 1:44 I think he's having a religious experience.

  • @NelsonStJames hahahaha LOL. hes having an orgasm!!!

  • best and sexiest band ever. forever. always. love.

  • 1:44 the "Sideway Headbang" era

  • 1:44 justin bieber's grandpa hahahaha

  • @mogulkahn23 LMFAO!!!!! AHAHAHA

  • Was that Dusty Springfield hosting?? Man she was a fox.....lucky Beatles

  • @AlT70 No, she is lucky ;)

  • esta genial esta cancion uuuhhhhhh¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • hahahahahahahaha only one dislike hahahahahha poor guy

  • Hey, you, the only guy who disliked this vid... I'll get you in theend!!!

  • Now we know were Justin bieber got that stupid haircut

  • @Hyper92793 Beatles haircut is one thing, Bieber haircut is another. They are not the same. Beatles got an awesome haircut, Bieber is gay. Big difference.

  • ill get you.... you will ;)

hahaha ;) Im pretty sure that PAUL After that concert had sex with that blond;) hahah

  • @fecuva BLondE sorry

  • @fecuva I'm pretty sure he didn't. Reportedly, she preferred women most of the time. Even when she didn't, I don't think Paul was her type. She supposedly had a thing for Burt Bacharach around this time.

Besides, you can't really be starstruck over someone,no matter how big they are, if you had hit singles before them.

More importantly, I really wish they had done a song together.

  • @BlackMonk66 haha well yeah u might be right i was just saying they (the beatles) were charming and good looking greetings!

  • @VIHO100 Definitely. Dusty was, too, and now I'm thinking that she and John might have made a good couple, but the post-Yoko John, who could appreciate an intelligent woman.

  • is a beautiful song <3

  • THE FREAK DOING THE HIPPY HIPPY SHAKE IN THIS VIDEO IS TOO COOL. THE BEATLES IN THIS VIDEO ARE TOO COOL. COME BACK!COME BACK!

  • Too much talent in this little band ; look where they had got to only 3 years after this

  • Comment removed

  • Paul: I'll get you.

Woman: You will ?!! (OMGGG PAUL MCCARTNEY WANTS ME)

    *Paul smiles* (Just joking ...)

  • it's a nice song, of course - but it's not live ...

  • @Berniewahlbrinck hahaha, yeahh, lennon not playing the harmonica gives that away..

  • one of my favorite of their early songs- so cute, perfect harmonies

  • A little too much speed for the guy at at 1:44.

  • this is so not live! who's playing the harmonica during the verses?!? jeez

  • esta cancion se la dedico a una niña hermosisisisisisisima que es: Almitha.... algun dia te tendre ill get you girl!

  • Aww, Ringo's so adorable! 1:23 - 1:38

  • Very cool! RIP John, George & Dusty!

  • I love his nod when he answers "I'll Get You"(:

  • Maybe the guy looks the fool dancing, but he got to see The Beatles live... I didn't.

  • people back then didn't know how to dance so they just move their body around and stuff (x good times

  • Thizzle dance at 1:45

  • for some reason or another i like the live stuff better

  • What a good thing to see the Beatles perform without all the screaming that usually accompanies it.. Dusty is so beautiful !!

  • awwww i want them to get mee :) darnn just a little too late........

  • Their b-sides were better than most 60s bands a-sides. amazing.

  • George is playing his Rickenbacker 425. He bought while on vacation in America in 1963. AFAIK the only footage of him playing it.

  • @jerome3004 thanks man

  • I am 56 years old, and there has NEVER EVER been a greater band than the Beatles.. They saved my life way back when, before kids thought of suicide, but saved me from the woes of heartbreak.. and I will always be their biggest fan...

  • @rangerscowgirl I inderstand. They've helped me get through tought times as an adult too. I'm always happy listening to the Beatles.

  • @rangerscowgirl You are so so so right! I feel exactly the same way about them.

All their songs were about Love. Ah...the good ole days. Love the Beatles! Still.

  • what guitar is george playing here ??

  • Georges smile at 0:34-0:37 just makes me laugh and smile haha

  • wow i cant take it im i realy lik beatles 4 ever

  • that legend at 0:40 and 1:44 lol

  • it's hard to play live without any amplifications or microphones, but hey! they're the Beatles! they can do whatever thery want! lol

  • During the bridge (1:10 to 1:25) John sings an exact octave lower than Paul in a dual lead vocal part split high and low. George does the the "harmony" part. Paul's high range was shocking sometimes, but listen to the power and clarity in John's lower range! He had as much range as Paul- it just started and topped out lower than McCartney. All 3 complimented each other beautifully and solo or combined their vocal sounds can get down into your bones like nothing else.

  • @DH2pilot Yes, your right. John and Paul pretty much perfected that high-low stuff in their singing. Listen to "If I Fell". You can hear their voices individually and sort of mixed at the same time. Pretty amazing.

  • jeez, this must be from 1963! Look at george's guitar!

  • I wish I was at this party!!! Where is thjis from?I wanna watch the full thing!please help!

  • Ohh what I wouldnt give to live back in those days of The Beatles , Elvis Presley , and Michael Jackson :] I wish I woulda been born in the 60's or 80's that suckzzz

  • @MichaelJackson36224 Trust me so do I.

  • @MichaelJackson36224 No worrys, its not like music talents gone away forever.

  • @MichaelJackson36224 Well if you were born in the 60's or 80's, you would still be a baby when their music was out...

  • @MichaelJackson36224 i wish i'd been borned in nthe 40's or on the 60's. Then i would have 20 in the sixties, or 20 in the 80's.

  • The Beatles were ahead of their time, having cordless electric guitars way back in the early sixties.

  • I love their golden lyrics:i think about you night and day i need you and its true.when i think about you im never blue..So true John..

  • GGAAHHHHH that mccartney smile gets me every time.... *swoons*

  • This is not live...there are not any cords on guitars and they have no microphones!!! It is a nice clip though. Thanks for posting!

  • Comment removed

  • i realy like the beatles all legands and i love ill get you

  • @lukem00lachm99 of course its not live genius. They dont have microphones and they dont have amps.

  • @CommieCotch hey u shut yur face it is live

  • @HRHStewartIIRegina well yes technically its live but they're just lip synching. They dont even have microphones!

  • These guys had their hopes up!

  • Running creditss over them ! After '64 no more credits ran over them.

  • @lukem00lachm99 Or the lack of amplifiers.

  • @lukem00lachm99 Nice explanation. Did you not notice that he wasn't playing the mouth organ either? Or that it sounds exactly like the recording?

  • bring back REDIFFUSION. who needs SKY?

  • You must not understand the meaning of "Live". This is the studio

  • what guitar is george using? danelectro?

  • @laidout, It's a Rickenbacker 425, a guitar he used only for a few months in late '63.

  • Comment removed

  • @laidout , Google "John Crowley Fab Guitars Beatles" to find his website, go to George's section, page 5 to read more about the guitar. I tried to post a link, but apparently YouTube doesn't like links and comments is acting buggy at the moment.

  • @SteveG325 thanks!!!

  • Definitely not live

  • JOHN & GEORGE RIP ):

  • "I'll get you beatles watch"!...........i'm just kidding, but i do love the songs.

  • my mom had a crush on george in 1964. my dad just rolled his eyes when they were on ed sullivan. I was in awe, still am.

  • @randsomCrap nice catch. I think that is the charm of these early recordings.

  • 1:16 sounds like a combination of make and change

  • TE CONSEGUIRE

  • man. Im supposed to be doin homework but I can't!!!

  • 0:40 and 1:44 hahahahahahaha the fool xD!!!

  • @jmug92 They had drugs back then too...funny LOL

  • @Rick31797 hahaha yeaah!!

  • @jmug92 hi fool u better like this

  • @jmug92 Maybe that guy looks the fool now, but in 1964, his dancing was right in style...he was rockin'...

  • @fab4fan4ever64 Don't be silly. If you notice the other ppl dancing, no one else is dancing like that guy. I'm sure he looked as foolish back then as he does today. Let's just hope that someone destroys this vid. and the memeory of this guy dancing slowly fades from all existance. His dancing is ever so upsetting. Must call therapist. Later.

  • @susp1 You may be right...I haven't seen anyone on youtube stepping up to claim that he's the one dancing in the video...I, myself, might have been so in awe of The Beatles that I likely would have been unable to move at all at a live performance... Foolish...yeah... but we can all agree, I think, that he was lucky !! Best Wishes, Friend...

  • @fab4fan4ever64 Yeah, I agree, he was lucky but what I find unusal is that if I was there, in the dancing audience, like you, I would have just stared at the Beatles but these ppl, in this vid., don't seem to even care about the Beatles other than dancing to their music....whew, long sentence...lol. Maybe when the Beatles did this show, they weren't that big..not sure. Anyway, let me focus...yes, despite his spastic, idiotic, embarrassing, vomitus,"dancing," he was extremely lucky!

  • @jmug92 He looks like Crispin Glover

  • Nice to see Dusty Springfield introducing the band! Great song!!

  • @cricketbat08 good on u

  • John & George on Rickenbackers too!

  • Didn't John sing another song that began with the word "Imagine"..Of course this is a lip synch folks. No amps, no chords. Always easier and cheaper for the producers of the show. Nothing elaborate to set up or check. This is one of the greatest b sides of the Beatles. Like Ian McDonald said in his excellent book "Revolution of the Mind".. "the Beatles colleagues in the business looked on with astonishment as songs of such great commercial potential were routinely thrown away as album tracks."
