Too bad ARMA has gone competely nuts. By closing themselves to learning from other sources, and Clements going bat shit insane, they are quickly relegating themselves to never-never land.
Curious what you mean by this. I'm not a member, but have been reading their site resources. Shouldn't you strive to embrace as many sources as possible to see the varied techniques? Not sure whay that's bad, but do let me know. I'd thought about signing up with them.
You should, but Clements has such a rigid grasp of ARMA that if members are found sharing anything they learn from ARMA they are kicked out of ARMA. Read for yourself on the arma website. Also bing/google John Clements and Poland ARMA and read the silly stuff.
Funny to see John chuckle in the back at that last bit. It's such a nice picture how one can train in this dangerous art and also enjoy it so much that laughter is the thing that comes to mind when you see someone perform a perfect move. That's why I love it anyway.
Awesome. and to all those who aren't near an ARMA chapter, you can start an ARMA study group as per their requirements. There are also other good organizations out there, particularly in Canada, Germany and the UK.
In Toronto there's Aemma, the academy of european martial arts. It's excellent -- affiliated with the university of toronto history department in some way.
My dear god. I've watched this clip a couple of time before but I didn't notice that mortschlag 'til you pointed it out for me. Truely marvellous clip btw.
You are pretty good, guys.
