@BMWPOWER4U i can guaranty you you did not get 13.5 hp. when it says dyne proven it means that the filter before was a toaster. thats the only way you will see a 13 hp gain. iv got an e46 330i as well and iv gone through a couple intakes.

They're really stable, even with DSC off there not very easy to slide..... Now, my 86' Fox Body 5.0, (coilovers, subframe connectors, stripped interior, gears, bald tires, and a million engine mods) that thing will slide like a mother fucker. the thing get sideways with no effort , even by accident when im just rollin through slick parking garages at 5mph.
I love my 328i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $170 and add up to 9HP in the E46 323/325/328 and up to 13.9HP in the 330. That's about $17/per extra HP... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:

@Reverseflush Not the E46M3 nor the E92M3 , anyway Merc have had problems for the last 7 years !!! This is about the M3 which is one hell of a vehicle and is far cheaper to upgrade than any of its Merc counterparts , dont get me wrong I prefer any German car but as an owner of a 450 bhp E46M3 (modified) I am impressed by power , handling and looks . And if I had a choice of Audi RS or Merc S/CLK I would choose Audi...though if I had a Merc for free Iwould take it !!!! But no BMW for me .

@Jayj93pgt The SMG gear box stands for sequential manual gearbox. Its a dual clutch gearbox that has 2 clutches doing the job of 1 essentially. Therefore, the shifting is faster than a manual ...and yes it sounds as if it is a manual

@nikobellic2008 It's not semi-auto. It's fully manual. The only difference is you drive without the clutch at your control. I'm glad BMW and Ferrari offers it. It would be pretty stupid to keep technology that makes the car go faster behind closed doors. The fact of the matter is nobody will ever shift faster up or down than a good sequential. Not to mention, the software preserves the engine and tranny by making fluent shifts.

@DerinStevens are the 2010 SS Camaros not that fast? My 08 GT was fuckin slow before a tune. That's all it needed tho...now the throttle response and speed is ridiculous. Can't blame you tho...I'd trade a POS Camaro for an E46 M3 too.

The Camaro SS speciallizes in all independent suspension, designed for intense turns at higher speeds, not high acceleration. For instance, 2012 SRT8 Jeep comes bone stock 6.4L Hemi with a slamming 465 hp. It's easy to make a light car go fast, but to build up a 5000 pound AWD SUV will destroy anything on the street. Have fun with your cute little 3.2l.

@ostracko no. SMG stands for sequential manual gearbox. The clutch is actuated by a hydraulic system, but the driver still changes gears.

@nikobellic2008 It's not semi-auto. It's fully manual. The only difference is you drive without the clutch at your control. I'm glad BMW and Ferrari offers it. It would be pretty stupid to keep technology that makes the car go faster behind closed doors. The fact of the matter is nobody will ever shift faster up or down than a good sequential. Not to mention, the software preserves the engine and tranny by making fluent shifts.
