i found this game harder than the usual rpgs from bioware i usually complete games in normal mode i completed mass effect 1 and 2 and when i started this one i found the first battles like this one really hard in normal difficulty i compare this to fallout 3 in hard mode :p great game but kind of easy

Well cool, am I the only one using the 4:3 1600x1200 resolution on a 40'' HD TV?

1200 instead of 1080, but I don't use the last driver, only a specific driver allow me to use that resolution. My pc is:

Processor AMD Phenom(tm) II X3 720

Clock Speed 2802 MHz

Physical Memory 3 Go

NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT VRAM 1 Go

Storage Model: AMD 2+0 Stripe/RAID0 SCSI Disk Device

So 1600x1200 with x2 AA, FPS = decent. I don't want to return back to 1080, 1200 own with 9800 GT driver version for : 197.13

After playing this game a crapload I found having two wizards makes the game way too easy. I went through the entire game without really fighting anything with swords. All I did was cast the firestorm + lightning storm + blizzard on a huge area infront of me. I had both of my mages cast all three spells and not even the orange bosses lived longer than 30 seconds.

I also played as a fighter with morrigan/alistar and that thief chick (gotta have a thief to get all the loot).

Do you ever notice microstutter or just feels laggy when fraps shows 100+fps? I also get this weird clear line across my screen sometimes.

Not really in origins, but i had somewhat microstutter problems before due the gtx 295 probably.

wooow nice! :D but i thought if you run your games at res of 1900 and higher you don't need to use AA?

you can still spot a difference, but anything over 1900 will look sharp enough. For example a 22inch 1920x1080 will look very very sharp.

that's nothing special my pc is in 1080p hd to the max sapphire radeon hd 4870 cards with cross fire and i play this on a 60" flat screen. my setup still looks better than yours lol

whats even more killer is the surround sound.

sucks that in a year dx11 is coming out in full force and this will look like total trash.

I'm runnnig this on a 2.8ghz Q9550, 4gb RAM and a 9800GTX+ and it looks amazing. There are few times when you're looking over great distances that it breaks up a little, but outside that, the game is as smooth as you're seeing here.

I also don't play it in real time, i make sure my Dps melee and burst melee have their skills up, i have my mage healer set to heal my Tank templar when his health goes below 25%. i really do enjoy the tactics tab, it allows you to control what they do when a fight starts.

BTW im a lvl 10 Dwarf Tank Templar ^^. I was rolling a spirit healer mage before with dps cap's, but the mage was too squishy.
