@sbatakki I don't know for sure as I don't have traktor. You will have to look in your traktor manual to see if it works with mackie control universal. Sorry, no help here!
dafür dass das teil so billig ist, im gegensatz zu manch anderen teilen scheint es nicht schlecht zu sein. wobei behringer die beschissenste software für die produkte anbietet!!!
thanks for the vid, I heard about mackie emulation mode a while ago but I never realized it was so much more powerful than what you could do with just mapping knobs manually. now i'm going to have to mess with this! only problem is, some of my knobs are broken off because I haven't taken such good care of it, so I'll have to re-map some of the rows :(
hey, i just bought the BCF2000 and a BCR2000 together, can i use the BCF2000 to control just faders and pan and the BCR2000 to control VST instruments and plug ins? i mean, i will get another pair of BCFs so i can have 24 faders but i'm just wondering if the BCR can be used ONLY as a Vpots unit of the channel that you have selected using the BCF.
You can use the native live support for the bcr to control selected plugin. But that is all you will have on the bcr. You can use my new preset which uses the native device controls.
3 bcfs controlling 24 tracks only pans and faders? Yes - possible. Config tricky. genmce(at)yahoocom I will assist.
Don't miss bcmanager preset editor. You will have to hack that one together yourself.
Hi it seems as tho the bottom row of buttons are redundant?.....is there a way to have these controlling say another 8 tracks....the only reason i was going to buy the bcr2000 was if i could get ALL the pots working in mackie mode.
I have a BCR 2000 with ableton 8 on a MAC OS. How do i get it working with a mackie emulator ? Help !
gil3131 6 months ago
@gil3131
I suggest you go to the bc2000 yahoo group for help getting your presets to bcr with a mac.
genmce 6 months ago
@gil3131
You will need to figure out how to send the system exclusive file from your mac to the bcr.
There are freeware programs out there to do this on a mac. I don't have a mac so ...
Unless you have a pc laying around to do the job with bcmanager.

@darealrecords
Hope it works for you. I just dragged my bcr out again... was thinking of selling... I still like it.
I really like using the foot switch to trigger record clip - I can keep my hands on the guitar!

Thanks!!!

can you assign the buttons to diff bank scenes? and it looked like you assigned the bottom knobs to diff bank scenes, how did you do that?
elmaspison 1 year ago
@elmaspison
Don't know what you mean, it was a long time ago I did this.
You bank with the bank button to different set of 8 tracks.

@elmaspison
Not sure what you are asking here, sorry about the delay on my reply.

@nukage9000 - well get on the yahoo bc group there might be a source for some parts, and you could replace them.

is the bcr better than mackie control universal in terms of features?
thanks
delinx 2 years ago
@delinx I don't know I don't have a mackie.
the bcr can do many things tho... depends on what you are after. BCR can remotely program synths with sysex! But Mackie is great for mixing...
genmce 2 years ago
Hey thanks for the great vid!!! i was ready to sell my bcr because the behringer software was useless!
I check your page and find out about the Bcmanager, by Mark van den Berg!!! omg! this app is really great!!
Now i only need to find the proper mackie sysex file to make it work!!
BUT there are many many presets in your site and i dont know which is the proper one! any help on that will be appreciated ;)
Im using Live7 and ill go to 8 soon!! :-)
thanks again!!

I like the 5.0a version on my site. clip fires are in there... you have probably already figured out what you wanted to do tho...

Wow, this is exciting.
Thanks for uploading, this is what Youtube should be all about.
cthulufunk 3 years ago
would be cooler if faders were faders not knobs..but it works so hey
aliengtr 3 years ago
Yeah, I agree, you could always get bcf2000 for faders. However, you won't have as many controls.
genmce 3 years ago
Pff, faders really aint all that. I actually think knobs give you better control. And like he says, you've got more control with the BCR.

very good vid
i have a few questions:
i was wondering if this controller works with cubase, fl studio, logic and reason?
and if it works with both pc and mac?
thanks
wracid2008 3 years ago
It works with all of those software. Not sure if it works with mac. Probably does.
ChubbyGibbons 3 years ago
You will need to edit the preset to have pan, sends etc control.
The faders, transports, mutes, vpots will work.
Not all will.
genmce 3 years ago
hi
very good vid
i was wondering if this controller would work with fl studio, cubase, reason or logic?
and will it also work with pc or just mac?
