  • yea i seen this on tv last nite us missourians dont play

  • @heartbroke81 Dumbass I was in high school when it happened. It also happened in a county that part of my family is from. The East coast sucks today, it sucked in 1981, and it sucked in 1881! Nothing but worthless mouthy immigrant trash and niggers! No real Americans!

  • @heartbroke81 Yeah I've been told the same from family members the way I understand it that both Kenny & Del was dealing drugs back then so really what the whole shooting thing was was one small town drug dealer taking out the other that's not saying that Kenny wasn't a bad guy he was a town bully...

  • With Vigilante justice, there are no repeat offenders. Case closed. Nuff said.

  • The town of Skidmore is nowhere near that big.

  • Most of the garbage about this online is only half right and most don't even get the basic facts right.

  • I think before anyone post about this they need to rember that it's a movie and they always add hype to it to keep you on the edge of your set before you post look up his name so you get the story right.... Ken Rex McElroy (June 1, 1934 – July 10, 1981)

  • DVD please!

  • Our Receptionist left the book telling this story on her desk over a long weekend. I spotted it, opened it up, and sat in that chair all one afternoon, until I finished it. Truly could not put it down.

Surely, McElroy could not have done what he did, for as long as he did it, without complicity and protection from "Law Enforcement". That part of the story would also make a great book...and maybe a MINISERIES.

  • Del Clement murdered that man, shooting people in the back of their head isnt heroic, is cowardess...

  • @Randeezy72 Yeah so is ramming planes into building full of innocent people. Don't like being judged do you.

  • @rustshac72 Im a white american , dont be misled by my page dumb ass , its sad that u midwestern inbreds defend scum , come to philly pa and see what happens, dumb ass midwestern inbred

  • @Randeezy72 Oh my tough talk on the internet......so much for Muslim being a religion of peace and understanding oh by the way I'm an atheist. But that's not my point, my point is you weren't there in Skidmore you don't know what you're talking about. McElroy had it coming with that said do me a favor, next prayer session tell Allah to go fuck himself for me okay sweetheart, thank you.

  • @rustshac72 inbreds make good stories for real americans here in the east coast , and boom go the towers, lol

  • @Randeezy72 Yeah you sound like a real Rhodes Scholar yourself, but your just a cunt. Real American O.K. there Hulk Hogan.

  • @Randeezy72

....cowardice is involved in many things, but why are you upset this guy died? He sounds like a huge jerk and whether he died of natural causes or someone knifed him to death I'm certainly not going to be upset about it. If you had been shot in the gut by this guy or perhaps raped you might not think it was such a cowardice move. Would you seriously stand a chance against a 270 pound guy? I've boxed, done muay thai, bjj, and mma and I would NOT want to run across this guy.

  • @gerardcannon1977 my issue isnt that he died, nothing is by accident I dont believe that for one bit , yes the people of that town got a raw deal from the lazy lawenforcement, my issue was the way everyone shut up about it, here ib philly pa theres a slogan stop snitching, yeah well who suffered from all that, his kids the women he raped and other innocence, as u see del clement died a horrible death too , maybe even more painful than ken , I could care less, I live in philly I see this all day

  • @Randeezy72 No it was justice douche bag! No one on the East Coast are real Americans just worthless maggots!

  • @rkba2012 come on over and see, hey by the way, why do u all out in the midwest so fuckin stupid, oh yeah I know incest makes u an idiot

  • @Randeezy72 Well that must explain what is wrong with you? I mean you can't write in correct English what a joke. It looks like you are trying to write in Ebonics, that would explain why you are so fucking retarded.

  • I recently seen the city confidential show then got some incite from the writer of the book Harry Mclean, I am in total shock , does this stuff happen today out there? since i live in an urban area here in philadelphia pa we dont see stuff like this, ken rex the least fav son of skidmore...

  • where can I watch the full movie online?!

  • I grew up just outside Skidmore ... about 1/2 mile down the road from Ken, his brother, his mom. Went coon hunting many times. There are many stories to come out of this if anyone would ever tell the truth.

  • I live literally 10-20 minutes away from skidmore, and my great uncles were apart of the mob

  • Having lived my life in a small town in rural Nebraska (not too far really from where this occurred) I can believe it that an entire town--when people are fed-up and pushed to the wall--could actually do something like this.

McElroy was a dangerous person. The things that he did were a matter of public record.

  • 30 year anniversary of his murder today

  • On VHS still (used), not DVD. Try Amazon.com. Netflix and Blockbuster don't have it

  • @brown9708 Why didn't this movie come out on dvd? do you have it on VHS?

  • @weseyedwalk The movie was made for tv. Made for tv movies don't make much money so some joe blow has to buy the rights to the movie and convert it to dvd and try to sell it to dollar stores or off the internet. Try amazon.com or ebay. They might have a stray used vhs or dvd bootleg out there. I'll look myself

  • do any of you remember the show about another town bully who the city counicle members kill and a guy you move back home and become the county lawyer took them to court and they turned on him and his wife whitle at church and would not set on the same side. They all got off and was celbereating the 100 year of the town by building a statue of the founder where they hid the gun.

The lawyer got mad and started breaking it up to find out that is where they hid the gun

  • I been wanting to see this. This is the way to deal with bullies.

  • does anyone know the music to the movie i know patrick williams composed it but what are they called.

  • The movie was shot in Texas. To bad he(Ken) wasn't shot in Texas

  • skidmore is famous in missouri for this killing and a few yrs ago a girl cut a baby out of another young woman

gotta love being famous for stuff like this

  • thats a cute house be a shame seeing it burn down some nite.this guy was crazy.very good movie .

  • Why isnt this movie on DVD/Blu-ray yet??

    Dennehy playes awesome

    Thanks for posting!

  • Nobody in skidmore, MO Talks about it, and I mean nobody. If you ask you will be told to get lost.

Justice was served, end of story.

  • @ckaplan81 I think it was a bunch of BS. He probably did'nt play by the local masonic lodges rules and was black balled. I would like to hear the story from the surviving Mc Elroy's.

  • @ozarkjuggalo No. His criminal record was long and well documented. 60 Minutes did a thorough investigative report that substantiated the accusations against McElroy. His criminal history is long and in the Public Record. Harry N. McLean did a book on the story that confirmed the bully that McElroy was. The guy was psycho.

  • @ozarkjuggalo

Even the McElroy's won't talk about it, its wierd.....there are some updated pics on the net about the town.

  • sadly related to him and john dillinger they said he was a real nasty guy, but dillinger was suppose to have been an actual likeable guy in life LOL but he got what was coming to him in either case LOL

  • Ken McElroy was the guy's real name. I saw the movie and read the book..Very interesting story. The killer has never been identified or apprehended, but countless people had to have witnessed who fired the fatal shot........Brian Dennehy played this part very well - very dark and mean!

  • prick.. not brick. pardon my spelling

  • i live about 10 minutes away from skidmore mo. people talk about it all the time, (only if you ask) it wasnt that dramatic. but still.. you got to make it look good for the movie. i really havent seen the movie, but from what im told it was a spur of the moment thing. dont get me wrong i think its awsome what happened. i wish that happen more often. guy was a brick. no worse then what happend there few years ago.

  • I can just barely remember this movie. But I remember that it was great, and based on a true story from a town in Missouri. Thanks for posting!

  • My favorite made for TV movie of all time! Brian Dennehy is great in this chilling tale of small town justice!
