It never quite made sense to me that they would hit her with a rock and then chase her down like that. Most kids would be shocked by their actions when they first hit her and then they would run away, they wouldn't hunt her down like a animal. Decent film, not one of Clint's best though even A Perfect World is superior.

I just saw it yesterday, just because of Clint Eastwood and Sean Penn. Good movie but I was terribly disappointed with the ending. Sean Penn kills Tim Robbins and nothing happens to him. No arrests. Nothing. What's worse is his wife telling him that what he did was right. That he is king and could do whatever he wanted. This is ridiculous. I understand why he did what he did. But I found the ending completely unacceptable. How come they gave it an oscar ? What a shame !!!
Penn's character is very distraught after learning he killed Robbins character for nothing. Hes clearly very affected. He has to live with that knowledge for the rest of his life, thats justice.

i saw this movie last week again and i must say its the best movie with the best acting performances in films ever from sean penn and tim robbins the ending gives me goosebumps everytime

I always had this movie but never really took the time to see it, so i saw it the other day and HOLY SHIT....AMAZING it instantly became one of my fave movies...So storng so powerful so emotional.....one of the best movies ive ever seen.....

Does anyone ever feel like certain cities from certain states are cursing certain other cities? Anyways I think this film gives me a feel about the Three Brothers story in Mythology.

this movie is way overrated. Did not like the ending one bit. Nor the film or Penn's acting can be labeled as a masterpiece. Not saying it was a bad film, but wasn't a great film either. Watch Million Dollar Baby instead.

I just saw it yesterday, just because of Clint Eastwood and Sean Penn. Good movie but I was terribly disappointed with the ending. Sean Penn kills Tim Robbins and nothing happens to him. No arrests. Nothing. What's worse is his wife telling him that what he did was right. That he is king and could do whatever he wanted. This is ridiculous. I understand why he did what he did. But I found the ending completely unacceptable. How come they gave it an oscar ? What a shame !!!

Penn's character is very distraught after learning he killed Robbins character for nothing. Hes clearly very affected. He has to live with that knowledge for the rest of his life, thats justice.

masterpeice clint is a magical sometimes i dont know what to say from clint clint is he good director yes or no i say yes after mystic river million dollar baby unforgiven. million dollar is my favourite movie ever so emotional.
