Absolutely. Just because God will bring his elect to salvation it is not an excuse not to witness... And we preach because of God, we have courage in him. Knowing that kills the fear of rejection. We do not know who the elect is and we are forbid to make judgement on whether someone is predestined for salvation or not.
Well, I don't really believe that the totality of the bible teaches or even encourages predestination! If predestination where really true then there really would not be any reason for witnessing! If God will bring all His "Elect" to salvation with or without you or me then there is nothing we can do anyways! The totality of the bible does not teach predestination or once saved always saved, which is right next in line. Phillipians 2:12 "Work out YOUR OWN salvation with fear and trembling"
Predestiation does not work if it is on its own. But alonside with foreknowledge (as the fist one) is just perfect. God from very beginning knew our every future deed not because he forced it but because he foreknew our own decisions. And in the beginning knowing every single second up to the end he - this is predestination - he knew who will choose him.
But we do not know who the elect is. We have to sow on every ground. We do not know whether we are elect if we do not test and examine ourselves in the mirror of the Bible. Only then we can have assurance if Bible tells us so.
And God is not dependant on whether we chose to witness - that would be horrid and unjust for others. Everyone hears his calling (external) and his elect hears the internal.
He is perfect God. It is really hard to talk about it in comments.
Let me know if you would like to talk through PM's.
'Falling away' exist - Bible is really clear on this one, but it is much more complicated and it is perspective of men - which we should look from, but we were informed how God does see it as well.
And the question is whether you prefer to believe your logic and skip verses in the Bible or accept that human mind may be mistaken
It took me like two weeks to fight my mind. i could not sleep, i hardly ate because my mind tried to grasp it in the flesh and it was just too much for it. But spirit always fights flesh if we are willing for the battle.
What an arrogant ignoramus!

We have to examine ourselves through Scripture.
