I think the poster is trying to make a joke.
In every episode the sign at the beginning had fawlty towers spelled differently, like anagrams.
"Farty Towel" for instance!
It's funny in so many ways.
1. Basils sir-name is Fawlty, which is pronounced in the the same way as faulty. He has many faults.
2. The faulty hotel carries the same name.
3. Since it is faulty in every sense even the letters that says "Fawlty towers" on the sign get scrambled.
It's a joke within a joke really!
