  • This is not what you learn in an introduction to philosophy class. Maybe an introduction to theology class, but that's the most worthless class you could ever take.

  • Can religion give us any answers? The answer is simple. Every one of these questions is basically a human attempt to blame god for our own actions. No religion prevents humanity for being stupid and harmful to themselves. Until humanity takes responsibility for its actions and works together to end their acts of greed no religion, government, or system can end these problems.

  • Why is their evil = because many humans choose to be selfish, greedy, lazy or stupid harming the collective for their personal selfish goals.

Suffering = We must blame our suffering on the acts of humanity. Weather god exists or not it is humans that cause suffering, fail to fix it, or fail to prevent it.

  • God not stopping = Man does not truly follow the words of any gods. Their greed and desire to dominate each other makes them place people in situations where they can not cope with sudden changes in the environment.

Holocausts = are created by man not god. Man has freedom of choice and it is man that choses to destroy other men not god.

What is evil = selfish and greedy acts of stupidity done by individuals that harms the over all collective.

  • Death=we stop breathing and our bodies begin to decompose.

Illness=because we expose our bodies to things that are less then ideal

Poverty=because humans created an artificial measure of power called wealth and do not distribute it evenly

Natural disasters=the normal changes in the environment that humans failed to prepare for.

Religion on suffering = a combination of excuses to explain pain humans feel because of mans in ability to take care of each other.

  • Most of the questions were idiotic.

  • everything that happens in the world happens because of people, as long as people live in this world we're gonna have problems, people create them...people solves them,

  • @brianmenendez why not?

  • @DragonBruceLee27 Why why not?

  • god is near to us we must listen to because we will die one day be aware don't try to explain mine philosophycallly !!!!!

  • i watched this in r.e before & i think its sad for people to get hurt for no reson . i think ultimate questions can change lifes ;(

  • All the answers to all these questions can be found in George Ohsawa's modern day Macrobiotic eastern yin-yang philosophy.

One has to arrive under their own contemplation. So this means one would have to do their own self-study and dietary discipline.

I speak from experience. This has brought me to the 7th supreme stage of absolute judgement which is self-realization, all-encompassing love. Without this kind of enlightenment all the answers to all these questions will elude us.

  • We die because our bodies wear out.

Illnesses because of other creatures fighting for survival=Germs and Viruses. Natural disasters because we built our homes in the wrong place with the wrong materials, and God won't stop them because he doesn't care/doesn't exist/is waiting for us to take action. Holocaust=God's punishing us/doesn't care/building up wrath/doesn't exist. The Jews during WWII would be just be a group of people that didn't defend themselves. Good and evil depend on perspective!
