My dads Siamese loved it when I played my dads keyboard as a child. During my practice sessions he would start by pawing at a key down low, then walk across the keys and rub across my face, then eventually settle down near the top, usually laying across some buttons that messed the sound selection up :)

Cats really likes music...I found out it at mom's home, when I was working I always played John Williams music, and the 5 cats in home came to the room to listen to the music, very near to the speakers...They liked E.T. score so much. I changed the style, but they did't pay atention. They just liked film scores...It was very freak, but it's true....Regards from Chile

Exactly 2 minutes into the video, Nora's tail twitches like she is electrified by the music. Unfortunately, immediately after the tail twitch you can hear someone at the other piano whisper, "Nora." She gets distracted and looks for who called her, and the electrified moment of inspiration is lost forever. What shimmering notes would have emerged from Nora's paws in the next few seconds if she hadn't gotten distracted? We'll never know :-(

Was that a secret hand signal I saw at 1:30? She has incredible technique and an amazing ear for music! Her duets are spot on, but her solo performances are greatly improved through the lessons! She also seems to love the adulation of her human friends whenever she performs well! Whatever the reason, Nora is the most INCREDIBLE piano cat that I have ever seen!! Her technique and understanding of the basics of piano are ASTONISHING, to say the very least! Animals are just wonderful, aren't they?

It is hard, but it's actually beneficial to the student. This is the way one is developing an ability carefully listen to yourself & your own music while someone else is playing, especially if dissonance notes are there.

If you are attentive enough to catch your own errors or to drink in your teacher's remarks while cacophony is present you can master anything! Singers must have that ability in particular.

So, Nora is perfect benefactor! ;)
