1. Herod could have kept Easter as the Jews kept the Passover, If you study about Herod and his connections with pagan cultures such as Rome, for Herod was not a Jew by birth neither did he real convert.

2. King James was wrong, although they never Identify the Jews or Christian keeping Easter, only an evil king who wasn't a Jew by birth, Herod.

The kjv was based on the TR & Arasmus & manuscripts 1000 years after Jesus. The niv has the advantage of manuscripts dating all the way back til 200 after Christ, way before the Catholics got thier hands on the manuscripts.

Hah. Our text is known as 'Majority Text' for a good reason! The main body of manuscripts backs the TR. The modern greek text you are basing your claims off of was manufactured in the 1800's by Westcott and Hort - and includes not only pieces of TR, but also of the Minority Text, or Alexandrian text which is shaky at best, and known as 'Minority Text' for good reason as not many manuscripts agree with it. New translations will continue to be more in line with the RCC (Papacy) if this keeps up!
