  • Islam can be not only evil, but also surrealistic...

  • what if you are left handed but not by choice...but becoz you cant use your right hand due to a disability and have 2 use your left hand for almost everything?

  • @yazzzmin799 If you are not able to use your right hand because of disability then you can use your left hand.. In every dharurah case what is haraam becomes permitted. Islam is not a rigid religion, it provides various alternatives. Wallahu a'lam (Allah knows best).

  • HIslam is obsessed with such pettiness as to prescribe not drinking withe left hand?

What if the person is LEFT-HANDED?

What is right hand is missing?

But I am so fortunate. I am right-handed and naturally drink with my right hand.

So sorry for evileft-handers. They are sinistra.

  • HAHAHHA, sooo true! Masha Allah! May Allah grant this brother the highest place in Jannah!

  • @zimmerinhere proof from Quran and Sunnah to being steady (and strict on oneself) yet lenient and easy on oneself but esp. on others, encouraging them, in following the beautiful habits of The Best of Creation (عليه الصلاة و السلام). A- Quran: 2:185; 3:31; 33:21; 59:7; B- Hadith (RiyadusSaliheen): Ch: Observing the Sunnah and the manners of its obedience: no.156: "Refrain from what I forbid you and do what I command you to the best of your ability and capacity"."; no.159: read also commentary

  • @zimmerinhere Brother, having a PhD in Usool /Fundamentals of Religion (meaning the area of the Shariah that pertains to the Islamic beliefs and of those au contraire), does not qualify someone to make fatwas!! And the example you mentioned of alcohol is fallacious because alcohol is ubiquitously known in Islam to being prohibited, in whatever quantity taken, by Muslim and nonMuslims alike, there is no room for misinterpretation. Here, the case is different. Dont be so strict, Be alittle easy!

  • I don't get this...if it's Sunnah to drink with your right hand...and it's not obligatory to follow a Sunnah...how does it all of a sudden become haram to drink with your left hand? This stuff doesn't make sense at all to me. Im sure there is some sort of context to this that the speaker didn't address

  • @popcan4u

    Assalamu alaikum

The word "Sunnah" can be used, 1. to mean it is a recommended act 2. or to mean it was what the prophet said, did approved or disapproved...

In the context of the video, the scholar means the latter, that it was the saying (sunnah) of the prophet to drink with the right hand, and every sunnah as in point 2, can be either, 1. Compulsory, 2. Encouraged 3. Permissible 4. Discouraged 5. Forbidden and this particular sunnah falls in the compulsory category.

  • @popcan4u

Yes, these are typical whabi scholars...they are quick to make everything haram. I swear to allah, these shallow self-proclaimed sheikhs are so dangerous that they are putting people off Islam altogether.

  • @popcan4u Who said to you that soenah is not obligatory for a example in the quran it does not say how to pray but it is explained in the hadith so if you are saying that soennah is not obligatory then we don't have to pray like how the prophet prayed. everything what the prophet said we must obey. the reason we have to obey what ever he says because he does not speak from his own IT IS ALL FROM ALLAH. if you disobey Muhammad PBUH then you are disobeying ALLAH.

  • @Sogekingu95 Relax buddy. I was simply asking for a bit of clarification. And that was provided. Moreover, the Prophet didn't eat onions for example. That doesn't make eating onions Haram. So your little tirade doesn't even make sense. There are so many flaws in your statement it's not even funny. So think what you want and leave me be. It's people like you that make learning about Islam a chore and a headache.

  • @popcan4u I didn't meant to attack you or something like that i just wanted to make it clear to you that if the commandment of the prophet of allah comes we have to obey. You made an example that eating onions is not haram although he didn't eat it ok but if he said to us don't eat unions then its our duty to obey. If I said something wrong my apologies for that.

  • @popcan4u I can't agree more. I have a great respect to Br. Philips, sometimes he goes too extreme.

  • @popcan4u Sunnah does not mean optional. It means the way of the prophet. lots of muslims make this assumption. Some sunnah is optional some is mandatory. I dont know which ruling of the right hand but example its sunnah to pray 5 times a day this is mandatory.

  • masha allah well said Dr. saheb, if we dont pick up small acts of our belived prophet Muhammad SAW, then how can we do or solve the BIG things like plestine problem..

  • drinking and eating with your left hand is symbolic, but of what, of always doing what is right, I feel so sorry for Muslims who are mislead thru these rituals, and burden themselves as to whether or not they picked up something with the right hand, and Muslims who put weak Hadiths ahead of Quran, and charge us with violating Allah rules,I'm so glad I dont follow or listen to them, while there majoring in the minor on these matters the west is surpassing them in technology and every other area

  • Mashallah great video i have always drinked water with my left just i was never aware but thanks to this video that will change inshallah, i am a lefty i write with my left maybe that's why

  • Angels have no "sex" or there is no male or female & made of NUR (light)

Jinn(Saytan have sex like humans) therefore they reproduce. But much higher rate and are in bigger numbers they where also created before adam.

    Allah SWT knows best...

  • Gibril alayhi salam. Is like the general of the angels. He has 600 feathers 300 on the left 300 on the right. His smallest feathers stretches from the east to west on earth. Now you can imagine how big he is right?

  • My sister doesn't have a right hand :(

  • what a catch lol.

  • SO the question is, are we suppose to drink with right hand despite of it becoming greasy/oily?

  • so, I am confused now. Am i suppose to pick up the glass with my greasy hand or what? or try to stay away from drinking during eating?

  • Just curious - if Satan (in Islam) drinks with his left and eats with his left hand - what does he eat and drink? What's his favorite drink?? What food does he eat?? I didn't know fallen angels could eat!!!!! Is this any proof to you that your prophet is fake?? Your religion is fake, and frankly, western people listening to this who are atheists are LAUGHING at you. So, Satan drinks with his left and eats with his left.. where does he buy his hand cream from? This is ridiculous!!!!!

  • @SuperHouba

    Hello brother

I assume you are Christian...Muslims too believe that angels don't eat or drink...

Does this prove the prophet fake: NO...

Why: Because Muslims don't believe in the concept of fallen angels, rather we believe that angels are pure, and not capable of disobeying god...

Then what is Satan: Satan belongs to a creations referred to in the Qur'an as Jinn...who eat and drink...capable of obeying and disobeying God...Just like Human beings...

  • @SuperHouba

    The Qur'an on Satan:

And (remember) when We said to the angels; "Prostrate to Adam." So they prostrated except Iblîs (Satan). He was one of the JINNS; he disobeyed the Command of his Lord.

    ~Qur'an: 18:50~

  • What do the Jinns eat:

The believing jinn may eat any bone on which the name of Allaah has been mentioned, because the Muhammad ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) did not permit them to have anything on which Allaah's name has not been mentioned - those are for the disbelievers among the jinn.

Source of the Prophets saying: ~Bukhari (Authentic collection of the prophets sayings):: Book 5 :: Volume 58 :: Hadith 200~

    Favorite food:

I don't even know whats yours...it changes from beings to beings.

  • Well if the atheist's are laughing at us...why are they converting to Islam in large numbers...Islam is the fastest growing way of life in the world...Don't trust me...YouTube "Islam is the fastest growing religion"...

  • @zimmerinhere I don't know what/where you get your information from, but there's many people leaving it, more than joining it.

Islam works its way through intimidation and threatening others. You're bound to have more news and information on those joining than those leaving Islam. But not from where I am standing. Read the comments on youtube. This really is a ridiculous subject about eating with your left and right hand.

You have humanized satan. This is absolutely nonsense.

  • @SuperHouba

I did answer all your questions in your earlier post...you have not refuted or disagreed with any of them...

Rather you are posting unrelated and new questions like, Why don't you believe in god incarnate. Although i asked you to youtube "Islam is the fastest growing religion", and check for yourself my sources, most of them are independent and mainstream, like BBC...you still disagree with stats...

  • Your statement: "Islam works its way through intimidation and threatening others."

    Qur'an answers:

"Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from error"

    ~Qur'an, Chapter 2, Verse 256~

Islam has clear instructions for Muslims on how to spread the word about this religion:

"Invite (all) to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious"

    ~Holy Qur'an, Chapter 16, Verse 125~

  • Your statement:

"Islam works its way through intimidation and threatening others."

British historian De Lacy O’Leary's statement:

"History makes it clear however, that the legend of fanatical Muslims sweeping through the world and forcing Islam at the point of the sword upon conquered races is one of the most fantastically absurd myth that historians have ever repeated."

In his book "Islam at the Crossroads" (London, 1923, page 8):

  • "You have humanized satan. This is absolutely nonsense."

Well you have the right to believe anything,

...are you right...that's a whole different question...

  • How can Satan "eat and drink?" ????? How??

You fail to see that God can be incarnate but you believe stuff like satan eats and drinks!! You've humanized Satan and you've humanized God Himself.

  • @SuperHouba my father is alim and my bros are all alim they told me what what he sead is compleatle rong but he looks like a good person 111!!!!

  • @SuperHouba Satan is made of fire without smoke. If one dont say BismAllah before eating Then satan eats with you. if one then say bismillah men awalan la akheran then Saytan womits it up.

  • @zimmerinhere Oh !! YOu are right.. they are converting to Islam. Many American youth that have converted to Islam are now part of Al Qaida! LOOK AT YOUR RELIGION!!!

Every single terrorist organization has the Word ISLAM in it, or is affiliated to Islam!! WAKE UP!!!

  • @SuperHouba

Oh, so now, like the other day, you agree with what i have said and bring in new questions...

I would recommend you to watch Dr. Zakir Naik's "Is terrorism a muslim monopoly" where he gives stats against your case...if you are really are in search of the truth, you would watch it...

Well, CNN, BBC and Fox news have their own political agenda's, want free oil, make Muslims terrorists, go into their lands, kill them and get it...it's an open secret...

  • Respond to this video... READ THE NEWS!!!! LOOK AT WHAT YOUR RELIGION IS LEADING OTHERS TO DO!!! ISLAM IS NOT A RELIGION!! ITS A POLITICAL IDEOLOGY. PERIOD.

  • @SuperHouba

And Yes, Islam has a political element, that's why we call it a complete way of life...

  • @ haha funny but a brilliant answer. We need to go back to the basics.

  • As Salaam Alaikom .. I wonder since when, if ever, does Dr, Bilal have ijaza/permission to make fatwas? I know he does not! Rasullullah said: Istafti Qalbak - Consult Your Heart! So, if someone drinks directly with his left hand its one thing but if one is holding it with his left and then guiding it with his right. Isnt it the intention that precedes an action? Why would a person be conscious about guiding it with the right if he does not want to abide by the sunnah for the sake of Allah?

  • @MercifulJustice

Wa'alaikum assalam...Dr. Bilal has a PHD in Islamic theology...if he is not qualified to give Fatawa, i don't know who is...

What if a persons heart says a little bit of alcohol is OK, consult your heart when a thing is halaal...intentions does not matter when the action itself is haraam...it's a sin anyway, in the general circumstance...

What the Sheikh proves in this video is that pushing the glass with the right hand in not sunnah...and is same as drinking with the left...

  • @zimmerinhere ya brother zimmer. Like I said "I know he does not" implies that I know the brother somewhat to have made such a statement. I know him for over 10 years at the least. In fact he was one of whom I took my first classes with on Islamic theology. By the way a theologian is not a faqih or a mufti. Secondly, consult your heart is obviously NOT applied where the haram and halaal are clear cut. Thirdly, the deen is yusr easy... not something difficult. He is a self-proclaimed mufti.

  • i saw the tile and i wanted to come but then i thought lets check another video but then i decided to see ir

ALHAMDULILLAH I CAME. i am also one of the many that does this mistake. Inshallah i would not continue this again

  • yeah you guys are fooling yourself with this bull crap, left and right hand WTF, stuipd religions, it surprise me that ther is no dislikes to this video so ther you go thats mine :P

  • @brokless

This question/comment can easily be answered by a real life example. When a student takes a class at a college, does he/she go around screaming and shouting, telling the students "you guys are fooling yourself with this bull crap"? Most likely not because we are not in the position to question the professors and authors of the book.

Then what gives us the right to question the almighty and all-knowing Creator and his commands? We do and obey what we are told...just like a student.

  • @ShamsherKhan82 not like a student and more like a zombie slave :/, im telling you this because i spent my first 14 years of my life living in saudi arabia. Quran is very effective i know, but it is bullcrap its really is :( its been written by mohammad not god.

we wont go into details cause its way to obvious,

  • @brokless

Actually Allah commands us to obey the messenger many times in the Quran:

"He who obeys the Messenger, has indeed obeyed Allah, but he who turns away, then we have not sent you (O Muhammad), as a watcher over them." (Quran Chapter 4, verse 80)

“Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger: but if ye turn away, he is only responsible for the duty placed on him and ye for that placed on you. If ye obey him, ye shall be on right guidance.(24: 54).

Peace be upon you my brother in creation.

  • @ShamsherKhan82 lol its alright man stay with yor faith, and die with it. i dont care for converting you or anyone but its sad to see this religion scheme ruling humanity till this day.

  • Just stick a straw in it :P

  • I'm actually smiling watching this video, and shocked tu :D, but now i know... alhamdulillah... may Allah taala bless you...

  • Absurd. There's nothing wrong with using either hand.

  • @RationalConclusion Thanks for sharing your OPINION, brother. Peace!

  • @FarhansUsername To follow a rule which says that you must drink using a particular hand is insane. What harm does it do to drink with the opposite hand? It does no harm. Therefore to make it a rule is absurd.

  • @RationalConclusion ultimately we believe the rule was based on revelation from god, and going against that would be harmful, maybe not in this life but in the next. it doesn't matter if you understand it or not, if god says something, you do it.

  • @RationalConclusion

Is 2+2=4 absurd? Of course not and that's just a simple mathematics formula which is only a small part of the grande scheme and creation by God.

To a Muslim, Allah (God) is the creator of the heavens and the earth and everything in it (including the simple formula noted above) thus we do not give ourselves the right to question God when we do not have the capacity and logic to determine an issue.

  • @RationalConclusion

However, based the little knowledge that I have, I can tell you the following: The emphasis on using the right hand can be linked to the fact that Islam encourages people to follow/do what is RIGHT. Emphasizing to use the right hand in feeding yourself or others is a reminder to be righteous.

We also do not wear our watches/rings in our left hand, hold the fork in our left and knife in our right hand. In contrary the secular western culture encourages the opposite.

  • @ShamsherKhan82 It's still absurd. There's no reason not to use either hand.

  • @RationalConclusion

Well, there are a lot of issues and facts of life which may seem absurd and unknown to us, such as factors that makes a child either resemble his mother of father...or an ant being able to lift weight many times bigger than its own size...or how and why we dream.

Just because we do not have the capacity or knowledge to understand a certain ruling or phenomena, it does not mean that we go around questioning/rejecting them when clear guidance has been revealed to us.

    Peace

  • @ShamsherKhan82 You should always question.

  • @RationalConclusion

No doubt. Questioning leads us to knowledge and gaining knowledge is part of Islamic faith as ordered by the Prophet: The seeking of knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim…” (Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 218)

However, there are issues which do not benefit us and the hidden knowledge/answer to those questions are only with Allah, thus it is not prescribed for us to question issues and things that do not benefit us.

  • @ShamsherKhan82 How would you know ehther something is going to be beneficial if you're not even prepeared to question it? You should question everything.

  • @RationalConclusion

    Messenger of Allah S.A.W.S. supplicated:

"O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from the knowledge which does not benefit, from the heart that does not entertain the fear (of Allah), from the soul that does not feel contented and the supplication that is not responded." (Hadith from Sahih Muslim)

    Peace :)

  • @ShamsherKhan82 Just because something is written in a book it doesn't make it true or right.

  • @RationalConclusion

If you believe Quran is just another book or gospel then that's a discussion for another time.

    End of this debate :)

  • @ShamsherKhan82 The quarn is just a book. A book written by men in the 6th century and influenced by the bible and arab culture from the time.

  • @zimmerinhere: Thanks a lot for uploading these small clips which are funny as well as an eye opener for us .. n also a big thanks for posting the links of the entire lectures ... Please carry on with ur good job ..

    Jazak-Allahu Khairan dear brother.

  • @denge316 Wa iyyaakum my dearest brother...

  • @denge316 This guy is ridicules . For those who are left handed, using it is right! And this is symbolic. Briefly left is your unconscious actions, and right is your conscious ones. What is haram is him taking a hadith a running with it, teaching on it, with no back from Al Qur'an.

  • @upsevendown8 my brother are you a scholar, or are you allowed to give YOUR opinion on a hadeeth. Because if you do not know about the intricacies of the matter it is better to stay out of it. To say the least do you know if there is another hadeeth supporting this or abrogating this, or adding further detail for it. Please remember Sheikh Bilal is a scholar of Islam of much credibility.

Little knowledge makes one arrogant, complete knowledge makes one humble.

  • for ppl who only make rhetoric n cant follow the simplest sunnahs...shocking n eye opening...'what r u gonna do for palestine when u cant follow even the simplest sunna of drinking with the right hand'.

  • @mustaftiyaahmed - but the counter-argument might be that the minor things are not equal to the major things...and people today, to avoid the major obligations, dwell on and overemphasize the minor obligations (they are still obligations of course) and make them out to be the equivalent of helping palestine or liberating iraq or whatever. example, a section of the salafis who make it a point to eat with three fingers (like the Prophet saaws) yet, they consider the saudi taghut legitimate.

  • @Mr1Fox9 If we were to accept the validity of such an 'argument' then even other obligatory actions would seem minor, such as fasting, giving zakah and even waking up for Fajr prayer! Even if I were to wake up every day for Fajr, the Palestinians will still be starving! Likewise, prohibitions would also seem minor when compared to acts of relative greater importance. A Palestinian who resists the Israeli may be carrying out a noble deed even if he spends the night watching porn!

  • @Mr1Fox9 So his act of watching porn is minor when compared with other major deeds. If we were to follow such a way of reasoning, clearly, we would slowly be led astray. Doing major deeds does not nullify or contradict doing 'perceived' smaller deeds. On the contrary, the smaller deeds help a person in performing the major ones.

As for the issue of eating with 3 fingers - anyone who claims is obliged to bring forth proof. So bring forth proof to support your claim.

  • @Mr1Fox9 And the generalized accusation that the so-called 'salafis' accept Saudi taghuut is not true. Many a scholar has been banned from speaking, arrested and warned by the ruling kingdom after they had voiced their opposition to certain acts carried out by the King. The ruling family is not representative of the Saudi people let alone Muslims at large! Therefore, it is not just to generalize their actions. And peace be upon those who follow Guidance.

  • @Muslim8533 - no argument there brother. the true salafis are far away from these "neo-salafis" which is the preferred term for those who bow at the thrones of the taghut. sorry for the confusion. i usually use the term neo-salafi to make this differentiation. nonetheless, we are still waiting for an uprising in saudia (in the name of Islam) similar to the other uprisings (though these are not always in the name of Islam). jazakAllah khair
