Hiya 'adarchive' ta mate.Hey do you remember the late 70's ad for Blue Stratos aftershave?.I can't remember exactly what is looked like but the music was slow heavy rock with all this sustaining power chord stuff. When I was a teen I though it was SO rocking!.Don;t know how I'd react today, could e interesting.
Yeah mate I'm pretty sure that's it!.Do you have access to it or know anywhere I can attempt to find it?.It would be such a treat for my brother and I,
They have an old Christmas version of the ad at the VISIT4INFO website, although I sure it must be available somewhere in it's original form. Good luck!
cream eggs have they really been given a bland name. i was annoyed when they got rid of wispa and the caramel bunny but changing cream eggs is well pathetic really they are erasing well known brand names for no reason its like mcdonalds changing the big mac to big burger.
That's Elaine Lordan (Lynne Slater in EastEnders) in the Barclay Connect ad. Shame that Bob Mortimer wasn't famous at that stage to provide the voice of the dog on the Unipart ad - and then they could land a big lawsuit on Churchill's door :)
If only it were an improvement. The whole point of the Wispa is that there was enough bubbly chocolate space to appreciate the texture, instead of all being condensed down into something you can barely detect.
And everything is being swallowed up under the 'Dairy Milk' banner - Caramel, Wispa, even Creme Eggs!
Danny Webb in the Barclays card thing advert fun times.

I think you're getting mixed up with the old Denim aftershave ad, Plonkey. It featured a woman's hand sliding slowly up a man's shirt!
The tagline: "Denim - For men that don't have to try - too hard"

That Shell advert featured Ayrton Senna, who died six years later in a race crash.

No, luckily Creme Eggs are still around. I was only wondering if the appearance of the Creme Egg "bar" was a hint of something to come...

Also I just saw some other tv stars on ads. Nigel from Eastenders - Paul something was in one ad and Bobby Davro in another

That Sheba ad made me so sad - my kitty died recently, and he was my little buddy, like that one.
