No an abridged series is condensing the contents of an episode ranging from 4:30 to 10:59 in length keeping various plot elements and exaggerating the characters' personalities for comedic purposes. The word you are looking for is comedy. The original was a COMEDY.

This is definitely one of the best entries for hbi2k's contest I've seen. Though I think the background music in some parts was a little loud. The Ghostbuster's theme at the end was perfect.

Actually, the English Dub of the anime is like an abridged series itself.

I wanted to abridge this originally, but I think that the English dub already did it for me =P

Pretty good though, the music is a little bit too loud over the voices, but other than that it was pretty cool. =)

The reason why I picked this was because originally I wanted to do Ghost Hunt, but when I went to mall to search for it, it was out of stock. My friend Alucard54 was with me and suggested Ghost Stories, which was there and available. I went with it because Ghost Stories was already a comedy, and comedy is the hardest genre to successfully abridge, only Kaiser and Nowhacking have ever done this successfully. The challenge is finding the humor beyond the humor.

This is actually a very funny entry. The music was too loud to hear the dialogue though. Also your characters are kind of one-dimensional. But if you're going to continue this entry you have plenty of time to do some silly character development.
