wtf what are you guys complaining about you all sounded like that when you just started...i know i did and i got tons better thanks to my awesome band director ;)...i can play c above staff and higher if needed but i've been playing trumpet for 6 years and im in the high school band...she will get better we all know that

@lwill8992 lol, its all good. nobody likes to be cut down, i completely understand. i'm really kinda nervous, but then anxious, because we have a huge festival in less than a month, and i might be getting my braces off before then..is the transition hard?

@lwill8992 I agree, thats why i love DCI so much, no winds! well i recently failed at making honor band, so I gotta rebuild my confidence a little bit. It's no problem really, i don't like to have enemies, especially as someone who i don't know. Well, im from Louisiana, and im not too bad, but i have a LOT of improvements to make to be at the level i wish to be at.

@cacguitarplayer The transition to no braces was alot easier for me than the transition of no braces to braces. Don't loose your confidence, I mean you saw that performance of mine that got caught on video, but I never let my hopes down. Keep working and you will get there.! (:

Ok I'm sorry, but that was horrible. You need to practice! I feel sorry that is was a talent show! Shouldn't play trumpet in a talent show if you have no talent for it... I played trumpet in my talent show last year and I got a standing ovation. Practice makes perfect honey! Keep it up if you really enjoy it! :)

haha when i was 12 i had my first jazz solo and i screwed up. i was halfway through, had a break so i emptied my spit valve and when i brought my trumpet up, i did so too quick and my mouthpiece fell out. was pretty embarrassing. and to whoever the kid is bragging about playing a high f, don't. i was that 12 year old once. used to brag about how i hit a high an E above staff in a solo. people won't believe you unless you actually post a video, so take my advice and don't say anything.
