  • Don't worry about the negative comments Amy, those who are being nasty are only feeling like inadequate parents because they only chucked a piece of burnt toast at little Johnny this morning. That is a wonderfully balanced meal and you are an amazing mother.

  • Yummy! I will be right over, hehe. :D

  • yummy! thats my kinda meal a little bit of everything!! he is a sweetheart!

  • Looks yummy!

  • Looks delicious and nutricious! Great job Amy! <:-)

  • @dreamflight6000 I hope things get easier for you all. Best of luck to you!

  • Your such a great mom! What a learning experience with the diabetes .. looks like ya'll are making out good though. Keep up the good work :)

  • yum! what a great breakfast. I wish i was as good to myself :) THUMBS UP!! Warm Regards from Copenhagen, Denmark. .)

  • my son won't eat anything. he was almost 9 pounds at birth. he ıs almost 2 years old and looks lıke an 18 month old . he wont eat :( thıs saddens me so much! :((

  • That breakfast looks yummy...can you share the waffle recipe?

  • @davmax99 Maybe I shouldn't have said homemade. I call it homemade but it was just whole wheat pancake/waffle mix that comes in a bag from the store. You just add oil and milk. I can't think of the brand. They are so much healthier than regular and taste amazing!

  • I don't know why people try to beg, or make there kids eat more. Almost everyone's comment says "I could never get my child to eat this much" Well that's because they DO NOT need this much at one meal! Children will eat what they need! Provide your children with healthy options and they WILL eat as much as there body tells them to. Clearly the latest medical advivice says to eat smaller meals more frequently. If you don't belive me ask the professionals!!

  • @MariaHelFutura I dont want my chıld to eat this much. ı just want hım to eat somethıng. he chooses not to :( he loves mılk.. everythıng else he eıther refuses or eats very mınımal . ohmygod.. ım goıng ınto depressıon over thıs!

  • @MariaHelFutura I didn't even think about portion size when I posted this. I just thought it would give others an idea of what to feed their kids for breakfast b/c I love it when others post videos like this. I didn't have any idea it was going to turn into this. If I knew this is what is was going to turn into I would have never even posted.

  • Wow, Henry eats more than me at a meal. I also rarely eat breakfast & if I do, it's usually breakfast type food for lunch.

  • he is soo cute :)

  • your soo blessed my son wont even eat half of that i have to be begging him to eat :(

  • Nothing wrong with THAT breakfast! Looks balanced and healthy to ME! Any child would be lucky to be served something this nutritious!

  • The world would be a better place if moms would stop judging other moms. I'm sure there is something more important than "worrying" about how much food another persons child eats. As moms we do what's best for our kids. And nowhere in this video did she seek out advice on how much food she should give Henry.

  • @quickstepchloe He is on the pump. It has been difficult. Thank you for asking about Henry.

  • such a good eater! i wish hunter would eat all that!

  • Lots of healthy fruit and grain! Great job, Henry!!

  • UHLYSS I don't think I gave her approval.

  • that looks sooooo good!

  • Yumm!! I am coming over for breakfast! :o)

  • Sorry that you have to deal with people giving you grief about how much food you gave him, if they had been following his journey, they would know that you have agonized for hours figuring out the exact amount to give him for his diabetes. You are doing a good job!! And my 2 year old may not eat all that in one sitting, but he would happily graze on that for an hour or two, which Henry doesn't have the luxury of doing at this point. It will get easier with time ((HUGS))

  • @TracyFerreira I didn't post this to show how much he eats..I posted this to give others ideas of what they can give their kids for breakfast. If I knew it was going to turn into this, I would have never posted. Thank you for your nice comment.

  • Yum!! Zander wants to come to breakfast lol.

  • Looks yummy!

  • Amy, I would LOVE your waffle recipe if you are up for sharing!!!

  • Well done. Did he ever get on the pump, and if so how is it going?

  • @manyvideoinerests He did Jan 5th. It has been difficult.

  • Just wondering what happens if he doesn't eat all of his breakfast? Since he gets insulin in a dose thats measured by how much you think he will eat before he eats it.

  • @TheChocolatecake101 If he doesn't eat it all..Then I have to figure out how many carbs he didn't eat and give him juice to make up for the insulin I already gave him. That is not ideal. Hoping for that to stop happening so often.

  • Mimi puts away a huge breakfast too :-) She can eat sausage, two scrambled eggs with cheese, and juice. Sometimes I wonder where she puts it. Don't let people tell you our kids eat too much! How rude! They're probably just jealous because their pixie children won't eat for them. Our children are healthy! lol

  • @Jlk6532 :)

  • You're an inspiration :) Well done, Momma!

  • So what time is breakfast served? Let me know so I can plan ahead. It's a long drive.

  • Looks like a yummy healthy breakfast! Does Henry eat all of that? I wish my 2.5 year old had an appetite like Henry's (>.<). It's so challenging to get my son to eat most of the times.

  • @MariaHelFutura Like she needed your approval. Lol!

  • Good job, that looks like a great breakfast! My son is only 20 months and would probably eat all that...he doesn't like snacking though and is a very busy boy.

  • Oh now I see, no snacks would change everything! Well in that case its great that he can eat that much at once if that's what needs to be done! Good job Henry:)

  • I wish my daughter would eat like that

  • Camryn is 2.5 and can eat about that for breakfast as well. She tends to stretch it out, and graze a bit on it if I leave it out for her. Which I know Henry cannot do, he's got to eat it in one shot. My daughter is the perfect weight and eats very healthy. I'm surprised to see comments saying it's a huge amount, when my daughter could eat almost all that in one sitting as well... and she's a girl, and very petite! haha! Looks yummy! Cam's obsessed with whole wheat waffles!

  • My son at age 7 couldn't eat that! Wow! But I can see how it must be hard not being able to snack. My Joey eats 3 meals plus 2 snacks. He's really slim and plays on a football team. I worry about his caloric intake since the workouts are pretty intense all summer and fall so I add extra protein and carbs but he still never finishes anything. He almost always leaves something on his plate.

  • I want my Jesse to have an appetite like that. I love seeing kids excited and enjoying their food. I would be lucky if Jesse ate a quarter of the plate. That is great that Henry is so excited about eating such a healthy breakfast :) What a good mama he has!

  • A very nice, healthy breakfast!

  • You go super woman!

  • Your doing a great job Amy :) Sending love your way

  • Prefect amount of food! Im sure Henry loved it!

  • like i always say: you are doing a great job!!!!.... except for now im hungry lol

  • @MariaHelFutura He has diabetes and because he is newly diagnosed..three months, he can't snack all day long like a lot of other kids. He needs to eat a big meal like that so he isn't hungry all day. He is also extremely active. He is totally fine. We have been to the doctor weekly..last week..twice in a week and they weigh him and say he is doing great. Thanks for letting me know your concern though. :)

  • @MariaHelFutura i wish my son would eat like this..this comment of yours upsets me.

  • You're doing a great job mom! With a lot on your plate, you manage to get a lot on Henry's! And HOMEMADE waffles, wow, my son is jealous! :O)

  • yum!

  • That looks about like my kids breakfast but they eat shredded wheat or toast instead of a waffle my kids are good eaters to:-)

  • @cistb We are lucky to have kids that eat good. :) It would be so hard to have a picky eater.

  • Wow thats a huge breakfast!

  • Mmm fit for a king! I consider it a good day when Abbey eats a small bowl of cheerios and a few bites of yogurt! She's just not a good eater.

  • @AmyLizz Henry has always been a really big eater.

  • wow he eats A LOT for breakfast!! :o) Does he usually eat all of that?

  • @08jaydensmommy08 He does!
