So no, I do not "put all my eggs in one basket"! Correct me if I'm wrong, but both of your posts seem to indicate a certain amount of anger towards Jaco. Well, regardless of how much you try to diminsh his stature among bassists and musicians in general, the fact remains that he was such a monumental......see part 3

Honestly, I don't know what I've done to make you write such an intense comment. You clearly misunderstood what I said with my previous three comments( the ones I decided to delete) Not anywhere have I stated that there aren't other historically great and important bass players. I also did NOT say that he was first one to use harmonics or that he "discovered" them. And I know damn well that he was not the first bassist to play solos or even play fretless....see part 2
