@92socal Taking performance enhancing drugs has been considered cheating AT LEAST since the 70s, when it was considered something the commies did to beat real athletes. It wasn't specifically against the rules of the sport until 2001, but it was definitely considered cheating. They knew what they were doing.

The 1998 Sosa/McGwire race for the record is the most exciting MLB season I have ever seen.1997 ended the season early due to a strike.Sammy&Mark were given so much credit for bringing public interest back to MLB.No matter what is said I wish I could go back to the excitement of that season!
