@Shadowhawk26 no both auto and manual for the v6 the hp is the same but the manual has possy for the rear your thinking of the SS V8 counter part the auto has 400 and the manual has 420 i think its a loss of 10 to 15 hp but all versions auto manual SS or V6 have 6 speed transmission and all camaros V6 minus the 2012 have 310 hp the 2012 has 320 i believe :)

@sunshinecarson I hate to say if but if this is going to be your first car this is most likley not the car for you. I would check out GM.com and build a couple of vehicles. The Camaro in many areas of the US is one of the highest cars to cover with insurance, and is still high for a 25 year old who is married. I wouldn't want to know how much it would be for a new driver....maybe a Cruze?

The RS package is cool but if you buy the 2LT and do what ever upgrades you want its cheaper. i just got my 2LT and i love it. body kid upgrade soon

@FIAZCOO you can not get the same options with the RS. This car is 2LT with the RS. The body kit is NICE but make sure the front piece is installed right!

@goldenguy12345 Hello, I don't have that model, but I have the 2011 1-SS R/S which is basically the same thing with the larger engine (V-8). As for the automatic, which I have, you can also operate it manually, which I do, by dropping the gear shift to the last step down (1 after "D") and it has buttons on the back of the steering wheel to upshift (R/S) and downshift (L/S) which enables you to shift just like a standard, only a whole lot easier.
