  • @MaximumKahnage ...if you wanna know anything else im actually quite close with the vool guys, not to sound too (hey look at me), but yeah. Hope Here Gone is another vool related band

  • @MrAvilla333 Fuck Yeah, me an me mate used to talk Drew online when they were first starting out and they'd tell us all the gigs they were playing through the week. I remember this one gigs was like in the middle of the day and cost $10 to get into the venue and $3 to see the band =) hilarious. I also lived around the corner from Leon in Beaverloop.... memories.

  • @MaximumKahnage no worries mate

  • Fuck I love this shit

  • 1 person who watched this is gay

  • @colesyyy19 super ultra mega gay

  • Kickass stuff

  • @ZeusUnchained okay lemme rephrase, this is the heaviest song they have made WITH vocals...without, yeah I would agree. Scarabs sounds like something Meshuggah would have done.

  • hey guys, just so you know this song was off an e.p called "persona" release in 2001. It has five songs on it and this is the fourth one. It's not on 'Sound Awake' like some people have been saying on here. Also, Kenny doesn't scream in order to look after his throat. The screams done on this e.p are mainly by a guy called Grant, who is a long time friend of the band and used to play in a band called Heavy Weight Champ, he know plays in a band called the Siren Tower, and has the sexiest beard.

  • @MrAvilla333 YEAH FUKN HEAVY WAIT CHAMP!!!!!! how could I forget, they did shitloads of gigs 2geva cheers bro for reminding me of another awesome band I used to go and see live.

  • That scream is fucking awesome! Ian is the man

  • the title is so ironoic considering how heavy this song is lol

  • SWEAAAAAAAARRRRR YOU! Definitely Karnivools heaviest song of their career.

  • @peanutbuttercrunc100 Nah I think Scarabs is probably the heaviest song they have made, I love this band and just heard they are making a 3rd studio release. Fucking stoked. And they kick ass live

  • Karnivool is way better than BOT. It's the same singer with a better band.

  • In these days of BULLSH*T music I used to wonder what "rock band" would

that would make a difference to me.

Just "found" the Band that answered my question.

  • the beginning is fairly easy, im thinking about makin a instructional video for it, i love the beginning! :D

    anyone interested?

  • check out birds of Tokyo

  • didnt know of this cd.ian crazy

  • Holy fuck, an Ian Kenny scream! I honestly never thought I'd ever hear that from him. Gotta love the early stuff.

  • @ktrel54 Im Pretty sure it isnt him who does it though

  • tuning?

  • @DrumBum561 They use "Karnivool Tuning" :P Its Drop B, with the top 3 in standard. So: B-F#-B-G-B-E.

  • Awesome group, they ROCK!

  • this band has way too many incredibly good songs. after hearing two albums, i have yet to hear a song that sucks. each song hs amazed me in one way or the other with little to complain about. this is the band the world needs to hear, and remember. Along came band. and with them, originality.

  • @einhander2112 The medicine wears off is probably the only one that I dont want to listen to

  • @xfighterfan Dude I'm the same, I love absolutely every one of the tracks on Sound Awake, except that one. They're truly incredible, I have to admit.

  • @einhander2112 yeah man the rock check out birds of Tokyo same singer

  • @einhander2112 yeah man the rock check out birds of Tokyo same singer.

  • Karnivool is so amazing GAHHH it mindfucks me

  • My fav karnivool song, power and melodic, uaaaaah!!! Amazing band!!!

  • This song it's simply awesome!

  • Haha. This sounds an awful lot like early Korn.

    This makes me happy.

  • verse guitarriff is fucking cool.

  • 4:25

    EPIC

  • Great Band....going to see them April 5th in Toronto...OH YEAH!!!

  • April 8th in Louisville :)

  • @jaym371 nice ive been seeing them play since i was 14 or 15 i couldnt count how many times ive seen them

if you havent seen them they are awesome live and you wont be dissapointed

  • sweet intro

  • The riffs in their older stuff remind me alot of Korn

  • Old stuff isn't that good! Nu-metal plays many bands but now Karnivool has their own unique sound,so Themata and Sound Awake, both are brilliant albums!

  • 7:51 Agreed.

  • i know i so wish this abnd would come to the states for a concert i would love to hear them and they are so much better then most the music people listen to here in teh states.

  • I can't believe they are a Perth band I live a few hours out of Perth so Hopefully I can catch 'em live someday.

  • karnivool !!!

  • Comment removed

  • It's a fucking shame we don't hear too much of Karnivool here in the states. This band could easily rival any band over here. Wish I could catch a concert.

  • damn right. They would whomp pretty much every other band around here

  • There's a reason why they don't play any of the EP songs anymore ; )

  • Phat as

  • Cool
