Farmer's shouldnt have to worry about being allergic to antibiotics either. I think one of th emain powers against healthy sustainable farming is MONSANTO. I want to get my master's in nutrition and then another degree in animal science so maybe I can one day run the FDA fair and just.

Federal government farm programs are absurd to begin with. The only solution to end corporate farms is for us to go back to a point where 90% of Americans made their living off of farming. I don't want to farm and I'd venture to say the large majority of people who support farm subsidies and oppose large corporate farms don't want to farm either.

Farmer's shouldnt have to worry about being allergic to antibiotics either. I think one of th emain powers against healthy sustainable farming is MONSANTO. I want to get my master's in nutrition and then another degree in animal science so maybe I can one day run the FDA fair and just.

Federal government farm programs are absurd to begin with. The only solution to end corporate farms is for us to go back to a point where 90% of Americans made their living off of farming. I don't want to farm and I'd venture to say the large majority of people who support farm subsidies and oppose large corporate farms don't want to farm either.
Jeff Tweedy is cool and everything, but I think he is just seriously misguided politically.

Also, GMO corn has created a new strain of ecoli in the stomachs of cows who are not designed to eat corn.

Our 800 cow family farm is sinking fast and my 50 + letters to USDA , Farm Bureau , White House , and my NY senators and assemblymen have gone unanswered. The companies prospering from low milk prices definitely have more political clout than any farm. God help us. About a year a go I had no idea about our farms and the food industry. I got netflix and was addicted to documentaries. I love"The Beautiful Truth" "King Corn" "Food Inc." They opened my eyes and lead me down the path I have chosen. I care about the health of our food. I care about farmers.
