  • great bowling from west indian bowlers especially from great curtly ambrose.

  • eyyyyyy even tho u got allout in 47 ... their is teams who got out in 43 ..... bloody srilankans .....

  • Now, even more bizarre inning wud b "Australia, 47 all out".

21/9 at one moment. then carried on to 47.

  • I loved those old west indian stadiums without much infrastructure, and full of carribean suuporters thronging those stadiums........Now all the infrastructure is there........But no crowds......

  • How times have changed.

  • i dont see english team getting out that easily.great bowling ambrose

  • ambrose!!

  • great bowler if there ever was one....

  • ENGLAND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SHIT AT CICKET AND CAN NEVER BEAT THE GOOD TEAMS AND THEY NEVER WILL ENGLANDS BEST PLAYER GOUGH IS NOT EVEN IN THE SAME CLASS AS SHANE WARNE AND AUSTRALIANS TEAM ID RATHER WATCH TIDDLYWINKS THAN A CRICKET GAME IT'S ONLY GOOOD THE THROWER HITS THE WICKETS OR THE BATTER HITS A SIXER BEST PART OF A CRICKET MATCH IS THE END IF I PLAYED THIS I COULD BAT SIXERS EVERY BALL THE THROWER WOULDN'T BE ABLE KNOCK THE WICKETS OVER IF I WAS THE BATTER

  • @DAJAZDJ1 i think youll find england are no1 in world at the moment idiot

  • @melglen1 doubt that every time i see news england lose but what a shite game cricket is the thrower throws it to the batter he bats it and thats it repeatedly id rather play soldiers with the taliban than play a game of cricket but i know i could bat sixers every throw

  • @melglen1 you know so much dont you knob a typical yankee trash comment , go back to your ghetto

  • @DAJAZDJ1 Have you tried learning English?

  • @TheWillsy ?

  • @TheWillsy FO SHO

  • @DAJAZDJ1 SHAME WERE NUMBER 1 TEST TEAM IN THE WORLD NOW ISNT IT?! WE TRASHED INDIA

  • @rhys3344 Did you now? Ha

  • what were ambrose's figures at the end of this demolition? as an englishman, i must say if he was bowling at both ends the score would have been about 11

  • the dislike bar is as big as justin biebers dick

  • Believe u me, If WICB can get their act right what a squad they have :

Batters : Gayle, Edwards, Barath, Sars, Chanders, DM BRAVO, Nash, Simmons..

Fast Bowlers: Roach, Edwards, Taylor (All 90+mph), Rampaul, Powell

All rounders : Sammy, Bravo, Pollard

    Spinners : Bishoo, Benn, Martin

  • Boycott,p[ad up!!Lol!

  • come on man who would watch or play such a shite game i only watched 2005 ashes cos i was in prison and all man was watching it

  • @DAJAZDJ1 let me guess, sex offender?

  • @Kr8mer YES

  • @Kr8mer SPOT ON

  • @DAJAZDJ1 Why did you click on this video then?

  • 'too much tetley old chap' LOVE IT

  • I remember this like it was yesterday!

  • great foot work from jack russell ha ha classic . I have this video ' Caribbean Crusade '

  • 12 views from england i guess?......the oval the oval omg .......those were the days

    life was good not now

  • west indies were god in fast bowling.but pakistan took over on fast bowling..and ya i am indian.. i wish india can produce one fast bowler like walsh or wasim or waqar.. the 3 W's

  • damn im an indian but my favourite team after obviously india is west indies, i know now with other sports being introduced and becoming more popular like basket ball for eg. cricket is now becoming almost non existent but i really hope they come back and become the team they once were from the 70s to early 90s

  • I remember watching this game...swore the we would lose this match until Ambrose annihilated England.

  • Athers didnt look out. Guess whos the ump....Steve Bucknor,

  • @ash123431 Athers admits he was out mate!

  • Maybe that smug cunt Sobers should go round the West Indies and teach a few of their players some basic technique!

  • I was in the Oval for this and though the bowling was excelent I have heard from a reliable source (the captain of the boat) that this was the consequence of drinking rum punch on a boat for the better part of the rest day in Trinidad.

  • lol.. this is insane.. i think i remember this game

  • Wer are bowlers like Ambrose and Walsh now?

  • This was England at its worst and Windies bowling at its best.

  • 1:22 rocks....

  • No matter how many little one off series wins the english have against poor teams like the current aussie team, this is how most people will always think of english cricket.. embarrassing.

  • @lol97d i wouldn't say it completely because Westindies was still a good team in the 90's but of course, late 90's yes they begun to fall apart slightly but they were still a competitive team. ....

  • 11 Legends in a side. Simply too for any sides....I love the 80's and 90's westindian cricket. They were simply too good......

  • England were a joke back then and this performance just magnifies the problems we had. The only decent players we had Graham Thorpe and Alex Stewart, quite why Ambrose's bitch aka Michael 'I cheated and we still lost' Atherton was made captain over Graham Thorpe is beyond me. Atherton was a poor captain and played for himself he either got a ton or a duck and finished his test career with an average of 38.

Good memories of a stong WI cricket team, Ambrose and Walsh were two battleships.

  • "The Sun " summed this up best the morning after England closed on 40-8.

"Hurricane Curtly destroys feeble England in 75 minutes of terror."

That's pretty much the way it was!

  • and now england are 551/4 at adelaide oval first innings leading by 306

    funny ol game

  • I wont mind seeing England all out for 46 in 2 days when the Ashes start!

  • TOO MUCH 'TETLEY' OLD CHAP!

  • This brings back memories of when we were good. Ambrose, Walsh, Adams, Lara. Not these over-paid guys who show no commitment we have now.

  • @faisal210 The world of cricket needs the West Indies to get back to their best. Couldn't agree more.

  • I think Eng and WI have been on a huge challenge to embarrass each other:

    Eng - 46 all out, Trinidad, 1994

    WI - 61 all out, Leeds, 2000

    WI - 47 all out, Kingston, 2004

    Eng - 51 all out, Kingston, 2009

I am not taking the 80s and early 90s into account otherwise Eng are the clear winners :-)

  • Im an aussie, so LMAO

  • @minnibig10 Well somebody has to be. Lifes a bitch, eh?

  • Amazing to see West Indians giving the England team batting tips, it's always the other way around nowadays

  • Had to comment on this. Am I watching school kids cricket? Look at the poor foot work.

  • thanks to this lot i grew up thinking 200 was a massive first innings score in Tests!

  • @robomas87 lol 200? what the heck?

  • @robomas87 Well,back then I thought 100-150 itself was a tough 4th Innings target,having watched Pakistan getting out to 92(Chasing 146) and India getting 81 all-out(Chasing 120)

  • lolz..the is the greatnes of english players

  • Ambrose had a great run up and bowling action and for me was one of the best fast bowlers to play the game.

    Tall, Dark and Awesome.

  • Man. I remember that game all too well, seeing Ambrose and Walsh just SLAUGHTER England's batting attack.

And as a West Indian, it pains me to see what our team has become over the years.

  • @lightning116 Your team is now what ours was then. When I was a kid it was Roberts, Holding, Marshall etc. If that didnt keep you awake at night nothing would!

  • Bad Times

  • What can I say????? Shit happens!!!

  • west indian team was the best team in the world

  • Hey West Indies I think it was you who got bowled out for that.

  • i'm indian and i love pakistanis

  • waaaaaaay England

  • i miss the Abrose/ Walsh combo

  • kalo dewanay i use too call them when i was a kid back in 90,s damn good bowlers

  • HOW MANY OVERS DID IT TAKE TO BOWL US OUT FOR 46 I PLAYEDIN AN U17'S MATCH WHERE WE GOT BOWLED OUT FOR 8 AND 1 OF THE OPOENERS SCORED 7 OF THEM

  • @DAJAZDJ1 lol..i guess u lost the match...atleast our cricket team is more successful than our futball team..

  • Ambrose and Walsh were both possess that afternoon in Trinidad.

  • dats wen west iindies de madd

  • omg amazing...but present west indies sucks so much and even englands under 23 team can beat them...and present eng team will beat present WI easily...but against this legends WI...lol no idea..another RIP maybe :P :D

  • England are fucking disgraceful my team could do better than fucking retarded England but credit to curtly Ambrose beacause of the bowling so that just shows how shit england are.

  • i was playing cricket ready to go out and bat. i looked bak and there was Ambrose. so shocked that i didnt say anything, didnt ask for an autograph

i just literally stood there just staring at the guy.

i went to t bat and showed great stuff. everybody was showing off that they had Curtleys autograph and that i didnt.. i had the last laugh because they will lose that Autograph but i will never for that The Great Curtley Ambrose watched me whilst i whoped the other team around. i was only 16.

  • Why the fuck is Atherton laughing in that interview, i would have been pissed off if my side got 46 all out.

  • lol! 1:24 "Boycott pad up now." ha ha!

  • Hhahahaa it's so funny when you see the WINDIES team now...

  • we did the same thing last year

  • WEST INDIESSSSSSS

dese men were just off da chain!!!!

    we need more off emmm

  • cocky

  • @hehmonkey lolz...like in barbados in 1998?

  • wats wit the horror music

  • fukkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk monsterrrrrrrrrrr bowlerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. seriously just look at the ball there is not much of swing. But like @TheSinnical said pace, bounce, accuracy etc etc perfect combination seriously master piece, I am Pakistani and big fan of wasim but i say Ambrose on top of my list

  • this was real cricket. his name should be Curtley ''The Legend'' Ambrose

  • I reckon Curtly is the best of the last 20 years or so. Wasim and Waqar were superb but often better with the old ball, McGrath was a machine and Donald was so elegant, but Ambrose had all the accuracy and made you want to shit yourself. Legend.

  • agree every word. No one else has combined pace, bounce, accuracy, hostility & variety so well.

  • I'd like to see the words "accuracy" "hostility" "mean as hell" "tighter than a nun's chuff" and "bloody quick" applied to Curtly Ambrose. And he could score a couple with "lusty blows" on his day.

  • AFter this England return the favor by skittling WI for a below 100 score at least thrice:: twice in 2000 series & once in 2004 series ...but then Jerome Taylor reopened wounds in 2009.....

  • b k t m k l!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!................

  • You know. Only the West Indies had bowlers that you were scared of.

  • i believe west indies biggest blow was when Brian Lara retired......That man was a beat with the bat I'm Indian....

So im not just saying that.

  • Thorpey looking leaden-footed...

  • Michael Atherton school of how to look at as guilty as sin after being hit on the pads there...

  • Atherton was Ambrose's bunny.

  • and mcgraths

  • Poor sod. There are worse bowlers to get out to, to be fair...

  • Who was the player run out after Atherton was out. Was it Ramps?

  • Yea it woz Mark Ramprakash

  • Ambrose = Great bowler

  • @pscucailin if he played longer he would got the record for sure.

  • It is no surpise that after Ambrose retired the west indies declined fast and Australia were practically unbeatable for a decade.

  • yah

  • nice bowling

  • ouch

  • Curtly Ambrose was a BEAST. What a bowler he was?!

  • Crickete inventors are in demolishe mode!

  • at 1:46 the bale slowly fades away when the stump is dislodged... ghostly

  • yeah!!!u r right!!

  • the poor quality of the vid me thinks

  • That final session on the fourth day was quite literally the most breathtaking I have ever witnessed. I still recall the overcast afternoon and the fire in Curtley's eyes. FIne day indeed!

  • Haha..'Boycott, pad up now' .. Legendary bowling!

  • Love Ambrose's celebration at 0:12!!

  • It was lovely to see gay men of asian descent in the stands...was West Indies that liberal back then? Or does it still hold a stance on gays that ain't so keen?

  • that England team was truely pathetic.

  • AMBROSE DA KILLAH......

  • the run-out (the 2nd wicket) is a joke. what happened?

  • I am a Pakistani but I strongly wish to see West Indians back in action again.

  • @faisal210 Haha, they are failures now. Only good players remaining are Chanderpaul, Bravo, and Gayle. Everyone else is like under 26 years old.

  • @faisal210 First look at your own cricket...U sucked a year back and u suck even today.....

  • i am from the west indies.. and i more than strongly wish this. :)

    @faisal210

  • @faisal210 Those days are over, no disrespect but they need talent really bad 3 good players dont make a team. Have you seen the line up of the other teams in cricket including Pakistan.

  • say what u wont about pieterson he is acaring man and a loveing father.....

    love you dad

  • As much as you like Pietersen, no one is getting fooled. Get a life.

  • Rest In Pieces !! hahaha

  • 'Too much Tetley Old Chap' haha love it!! remember this game good times.. hope we get a good series from next week

  • funny when a poster said " Boycott PAD UP NOW ! "....lol...curtly ambrose was an entertainer

  • this was again repeated by england 56all out in westindies. if iam not wrong (o_o)

  • haha i think ull find it was 51

  • in those days west indies in best team its very difficult face the bowling attack of wi bowlers. but now west indies team have lost their potential

  • one word pooned

  • 1:43 pad up boycott lol lol

  • didnt see west indies battin

    but they won rite??

  • NO!!!!!

  • I'm English and i cant help myself from laughing at 'Too much Tetley Old Chap'. Great Stuff.

  • "too much tetley old chap" lol i miss good cricket but lets hope west indies can make a u-turn soon.

  • get these taller guys back into cricket, cricket world misses them

  • all yuh jamacians damn lucky if you all reading dis. get to see the 51 all out. at least the 46 happen in port of spain hehe. rally round the west indies!!!!

  • England suffered a repeat of that 1994 Test Match..Kudos to Jerome Taylor!!!!Ralayyyy Round D West Indies!!7/2/09 England ALL OUT For 51 RUNS....

  • West Indies were the champs back in those days.....today.....7th February 2009.....West Indies got England all out for 51 runs.....

  • "West Indies destroying England"?

Curtley Amborse single handedly tore them a new one. What a bowler.

  • "Too much tetley old chap" lmao, what a sign.

  • me too.. the ones that followed were good too.. boycott pad-up now.. R.I.P, Here endeth..

the windies got some serious sense of humour..

  • ahha

  • hahahaha

  • I still have my Richie Richardson hat at home

  • Fuck, England is disgracful, the even sadder thing is, that its a test!

I'm Aussie, but England got raped the by the west indies bowling attack.

  • Actually you need to get a dictionary and check the meanings of desperate and disparate. Then cross-reference the meaning of disparate with my comment, you will then have the "full" understanding of my comment, okay blitz.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!This is one of the funniest videos I have ever seen!

  • I was in Grade 10 back then, listening ball by ball on my friends transistor radio. School was rocking that day. blitzboy3001 please silence yourself...Your attempt to compare this to what Harmison did to that VERY WEAK West Indies side might be considered heresy by some. Atleast this England Team was together, that West Indies Team that "Hurricane Harmison" destroyed was a "Team" of disparate individuals, coupled to all the drama surrounding WICB. It's amazing they showed up for the series.

  • i have a right to express my self, thats why everyone is allowed to comment.

    and "disparate" is spelt desperate.

  • Different words... idiot.

  • alright, translate what i said into an excuse.

  • Mate, was that a reply to me? I just said they were different words... nothing to do with your previous comments being viewed as an excuse from other users.

  • The moment you try to diss someone for their spelling is the moment you seem weak and helpless.

  • Of course, England has returned the favour to the West Indies a few times since then. ;-)

  • Remember Hurricane Harmison, WI? Harmison-7/12, WI-47 all out. not as worse but not much better.

by the way, guess who top scored that match? The Extras (in englands favour), yes there were 60 extras when WI bowled the first innings.

  • blitz, dont make excuses for england's epic fail

  • what did i say that was an excuse?

  • well i'm so sorry if i made a grammatical mistake when i was typing that comment. i can also see that you haven't got a great social life because you try to make yourself feel big by swearing at someone when they made a simple error. and i'll quote what another user said on this video, hubb22buntos-"The moment you try to diss someone for their spelling is the moment you seem weak and helpless." well done, your confidence must be sky-high now.

  • The POMS are the worst at cricket. The Windies were fucken awesome back then.

  • what year was this in?

  • 1994

  • holy shit and it wasa test!

  • this proves just how much POMS suck shit

  • Coz your lot used to deal with Curtley really well. Good shout mate

  • Never got anywhere near as low a total as that

  • POMS to hell

  • WI was the best team back then

  • I was there! It is one of the greatest moment of my life.
