my dad played this game nonstop and if i had a controller and a copy of this game he would still play it nonstop this is his favorite game of all time
I remember this game. I always did get a kick out of seeing my home town, Springfield, Massachusetts included in the amp. Probably due to a renown Armory there that supplied arms and cannon for the US forces.
I still have this game and I still like playing it. It was one of my favorites, but it was REALLY hard to find when it came out. As was the SNES Civilization.
I own both. To of my absolute favorites back in the day! Civ is really an unplayable hulk by today's standards, especially now that I'm not a kid living w/o the benefit of a PC, but LoD is still a great game.

Great game!**if u have the patience**not a game you can just pick up and play*there is a learning curve, but still a very enjoyable strategy game.

I play it maybe once a year and its STILL addictive. Great game. Even if the music makes me want to pull my hair out.
