328i = 192bhp = 150mph top end. I.e. it cannot reach its limiter at 155mph (250kmph). As the owner of an E46 328i I just don't believe this speed. The engine simply isnt capable of it.

Are you being serious for godsake? My Porsche 911 X50 Turbo will do 307kmph. Do you really expect anyone to believe that a diesel psuedo 4x4 with the aerodynamics of a loaf of bread could go faster than a 911tt!? I also have an M5 - this is limited to 155. Why? Because frankly if I drove it at 180 or whatever it could actually do, the tyres would burst, the wing mirrors and wipers would fly off etc etc. Maybe on paper your Toerag could do 310kmph but not on planet earth my friend.

I've never taken my at 6krpm. I've enjoy run it at 4-5krpm for brief period of time that the streets in USA allow and the engine seems to be more alive in this band. On the highway, 3.5krpm is like 95mph so I never have a chance to take it full speed. Is the engine still good from driving this long at full speed? Also, do you get past by a lot at full speed(128mph) or can you command the inner lane still?

The merc 270cdi or audi 2.5tdi have the same topspeed as your car and they will kill your 328i easyly in flatout... and this is only the crucial on the "Autobahn"! I like bmw and your car looks nice but today a bmw 328i or 330i is not longer stronge enough to keep up withe the german "mighty" diesel engines!
