  • I'm a REAL P90x grad here & I'm going to set the record straight for all of you. First of all, the misconception that P90x is for people that want to gain size only is a complete misconception. People that say that have NEVER done the video or have shed the blood sweat & tears that i have. When it comes to P90x there are 3 programs. 1 for Cardio, (No weights needed) Size, & Olympic regimen. I can tell you with my experience from doing P90x for 180 DAYS it is truly no joke & not to be compared...

  • @REDSCOUT3 nobody knows, maybe I was born with a weak diaphragm that tore open, so in the end, I now have a gore-tex (!) webbing inside me where others have a diaphragm (I believe this is the Eng word, a horizontal muscle beneath your chest seperating upstairs and downstairs, so to speak) and my stomach sack is sewn in place so it wont drift around,get twisted etc which all happened :/ I used to run cross-country and half marathons, swim every day and was step-instuctor..that was back then meh..

  • @TheMakeupGuruGirl yes drop it and just start spinning (indoor biking) and maybe some step aerobic. For getting lean/loose weight, its all about burning some calories=cardio training=anything that makes you sweat hard for minimum 30 minutes (seems to be the treshold where it really starts working off those inches!) Nothing worse than muscular chicks, its disgusting.

As far as the DVD rotation goes i will tell you what you do the first week fitst its the FitTest Day 2 is plyometric cardio circut, Day 3 Cardio power and resistance, day 4 cardio recovery, then pure cardio, then on day 6 you do pylometric cardio circut again, then day 7 you have a day off

  • I have insanity and its the best thing ive ever gotten. It works. Im on my 14th day and I have gotten leaner BUT in order to get the results you MUST be on a healthy diet. I love insanity I recommend it to anybody who wants to get it in shape.

  • @VaqueritaLatina Personally I would encourage you to build up strength in your arms before doing this. I can do some push ups, and I'm finding some of the moves to be really hard on my shoulders, so yes, if you can't do any push ups right now, or any with knees, you should strengthen your upper body first.

  • I think this is great... after doing this workout you feel really good. Its not that bad for joints as i looks like. I cant run cause i get shin splints all the time after a while. But insanity actually feels good for my legs. The only this witch i dont like is, that you dont workout you back enough. I mean lats and stuff... i think im gonna put a back & chest workout from P90X in between.

I feel like if you keep doing these workouts they can be bad for you since the results of a lot of these people have no fat after. I feel like you'd start to burn muscle but IDK. I might just do these workouts a few times a week or so after I get the results I want! Yes, and they are addicting, they make you want it in a weird love/hate way. It's not passive like other workout videos

  • I have been doing this for about a week and a half and I lost 7 pounds following the nutrition guide can get expensive tho so i have to improvise when it comes to that. other then that im digging deeper. the warmup is killer intense, negative people this is not for you, I didnt even know negative people worked out but somehow they always find there way into everything.
