@1mnmfan yeah but it helped her character grow as a person, not to be as self-absorbed etc like when she first arrived, because now she has emma. also, for monica it made it more heart breaking when she couldn't have a baby, even though she was in the "perfect circumstances" to have a child (i.e she was married to a caring husband, and had enough money to support one, loved children etc).. this storyline makes it more reflective of real life. nothing in life goes the way you planned it to be..
