I honestly don´t know anything about this story. I watched the French version of this son, and then decided to upload the Spanish with the translation x)

However, I THINK they are brother and sister, so it´s just normal family love. The verb they used for love is "querer". Typically the other verb, "amar" is used for the romantic form of love (though querer can be used for this love as well!) ;)
