Yes, that is a lag issue. Nothing to do with the server. Happens to everyone usually while performing ascending/descending operations, usually climbing up stairs. Unfortunate in this scenario.
I played wow for a few weeks, hated it. Its the mmo for the unskilled, and children under 12 and under. I played ddo for over 2 years before moving on to AOC. Been at AOC for about 10 months and while the graphics are uber the game itself is lacking. DDO is a great game with lots of options

unskilled? you obviously didn't play end game pvp. And stating children under 12 play wow is a bias statement for anyone to say. That goes for all games not just wow. DDO really lacking as far a pvp and only a instance based game when wow isnt hardly at a loading screen at far larger scale worlds. AOC is not bad tho. I quit playing ddo when i saw it was a cheap free game with things i have seen before.

Totally in agreement... WoW just HANDS you too much stuff... it was a great game, just not now, because Blizzard listened to the whiny player base... The same thing happened to Dungeon Fighter Online... It went up with a high exp to level up, and all the nubs complained about it, so they lowered it, and now on the endgame dungeons and pvp you find people who use the cheapest tactics and just got lucky by getting with 3 REALLY good players as they went on...
i can see where your coming from, however DDO isnt about running around, jumping, and hacking away at shit randomly. the real point of the game is building your character to the max. if u never had any experience with D&D, you will hate it, but that just shows ur own inexperience rather then the quality of them game

But, DDo is probably the most underrated game ever out there, and it really deserve to be looked at. Dont let some fools telling you that game is bad because of little bugs like that, that happens probable never now, are only to that specific person. TY.
true.. however, the game has MANY MANY MANY bugs like that and Turbine does absolutely nothing to fix any of them. Ive played the game for years and i really enjoy it, but Turbine basically treats its customers like shit and really gives D&D a bad name.

happened to me about two months, maybe three, ago in the harbor. Stepped out of the leaky dingy to half the harbor gone. the lighthouse, harbormaster's house and leaky dingy were gone.
I ran through the desert once and fell out of the world. At first I caught an invisible ledge below the largest spire near the Drow area. After moving I fell into Oblivion. I fell 45 seconds before dying and releasing. Was weird.
