I give most of my music away for free under a creative commons license for non commercial use. I am happy that people want to download my music and share it. But if you can afford to pay and would like to help me and other struggling artists like me to make a living, then why not consider some of the alternatives, for example…. (See post below, and thankyou, we need your help and support.)
If you are looking for quality, original, hassle free, inexpensive, legal soundtrack music for your next Youtube video or short film....try "Rumblefish Friendly Music" Just follow the link in the "About Me" section on my page. Only $1.99 per track. (Some good songs...not just library music).
We support Bill S.978 and applaud the Obama Administration for its tireless commitment to the music industry's right to seek damages originating from the loss of sales of its original copyrighted works from the illegal downloading of music by US consumers.
Additionally, we encourage Obama's proposed subsidy allocation increase of US tax-payer funds be paid to major record labels in effort to offset losses due to piracy, and to shield recessive economic conditions from hitting the music industry.
@RIAAInformant I never download movies or music and now because of the chosen business practices of the RIAA and MPAA I don't buy any music unless I can verify it has been independently produced from start to finish. Go right ahead RIAA. Keep suing people, bribing politicians, attacking constitutional rights and screwing the artists. I'm sure it will work in your favor eventually. LOL.
While thousands were being sued having to pay outrageous monetary amounts the RIAA & the FBI ignored the following conversation A NC police officer was recorded discussing downloading music He named the name Kazaa and talked how songs were arranged in groups you choose & click & get them He said it was the thing to do everybody was doing it He bet his daughters had downloaded a thousand songs on his computer He laughed & said he hoped the federal government did not investigate him
Obide by the copyright law, buy your albums and music, and you wont get in trouble. Simple. We spent $20,000 on recording, and you think music id free???? FUCK YOU!
@TheTyrantRaptor Selflessness is rewarded by heart countless times in this world, while selfishness is punished frequently. The RIAA's manipulation, money & copyright, the feckless nuisances they are, have blinded you to the very heart of art & selflessness. It disappoints me greatly. Art is a past-time, not a business. The sooner the industry and everyone involved in it realize this, the better.

on a piracy note....25% of all sales of microsoft was due to piracy of the product.... so word of mouth does work... this is when windows 95 first came out. if it wasnt for piracy half the artists wouldnt be known. and thats the truth.
the RIAA is a joke they take the money for other artists songs being stolen and keep it i think theyre doing more pirating than the people who download for free, am i right?
The power of previously recorded audio and video is killing the earth apparently, the only way to stop this is to send tens of thousands of downloaders to jail. This will solve the war on terror, this will solve world hunger, and this will save our environment. All this data really poisons our minds huh.
The racist hate groups such as the Aryan Brotherhood, Ku Klux Klan, Nazi Skinheads and others bribe people in congress and their favorite contrator Wackenhut to prison people of color, poverty, disabled, and any one of the non chosen by hitler man. There not coming after Jewish people yet that would be too obivious so if you wonder why they have stupid laws is because of hate groups forming their Prison Industrial Complex networks. Ohio has the most prisons in the United States. FACT.
oh yeah the Illegal downloading is the WHOLE CAUSE of the collapse of the economy. The war in Iraq had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with it. What a joke. I also wanted to say this video ROCKS!! WHOOOOOO!!!! lol
y'all dont have it... the fact is that the compact disc format is OB...SO...LET...we are selling 500 gigs hard drive with mentions on it that says "up to 10 000 songs"..where is the mistake? do the riaa have to attack those companies..or admit one for all that the compact disc format is at the end of this life.Let's enter that digital era now, whats wrong with it? cassette players in the 80's...comact disc players in the 90's and mp3 players in the 2000's...what is really wrong with it?
Thing is torrents tend to be for large files like films, TV shows, and whole albums, whereas LimeWire is really handy if you just want individual songs. Using both is probably the best way to get what you want.
Yeah, Vuze (Azureus) lets you check the files you want too, but I mean in terms of search results, things like LimeWire and BearShare are handier for music.
the R.I.A.A can suck my 7.2 inchs...... there just pissed because with the use of the interent, artists can make more money which would leave music companys broke.
Yeah they sent an email to my school - suggesting they shut me out of the system, etc. Now I have a 50$ fine on my account. I was astonished that they would interfere with a persons education in that way. Completely disgusting waste of humanity. Can you believe that there are "people" who spend their lives harassing people this way? Hell is too good for them. Sick, sick, sick.
Looks like busting small fry like college students and people on limited incomes isn't enough for the Beverly Hills fat cats & cokeheads who don't even pay most of their artists the proper compensation that's due.
"just don't download music then". yes, lets run down to the record store, remember to bring your case, you don't want to scratch the vynal. oh and bring your headphones to listen, if other people hear your breaking the copyright agreement you sign when you buy it, you know, the one where they can claim your soul as collateral.
government (RIAA) wants to ban file-sharing (e.g. music, movies, etc.) but it is utterly impossible for them to restrict it! I do not download music, however RECORD music by searching through the internet for high quality music-or through the radio!. The same with movies! iono about anybody out there but it is so easy to manipulate them without actually thinkin its illegal. Sheesh government, thanks for giving us easy ways to manipulate music and movies lawl=P u cant arrest me for recording music!
Dude last time i was ripping audio from all my lp cds, a7xcds,pantera cds the list goes on... my comp shutdown and my mp3 player crashed beyond repair or formatting i told my mom about this cuz well my mom knows how the comp works and how to fix comp equipment she looked for only 4 secs. and told me that the RIAA did this i was like What!? I told my dad about this he called someone and they fixed the problem and ever since then I had a burning Hatred for those RIAA corporate Bastards!
Man, even soulless corporations are telling the RIAA to shut their goddamn mouths. I'm betting soon Satan himself will burst through the RIAA president's floor and say, "Cease, minion. My Avril Lavigne songs are not to be trifled with."
As a former Ohio University student I of course LOVED this video (and the stabs at Miami). I also know the girl who was "accused of illegal downloading". GREAT VIDEO to all of those involved. GO BOBCATS!
They say they're are losing billions every year, this simply cannot be taken serious, if people could not download or copy the music this would not lead to their purchase. Artists receive only a few percent of music sales, the argument that they would disappear is futile and the resulting factor being more live music. Business is risk and sometimes fails. Society holds no responsibility to feed a certain group of people.
The time for sharing is here and the times of the plastic gold has ended.
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??????? ARE YOU SERIOUS????
"Society holds no responsibility to feed a certain group of people"?????
COMPOSERS and the creative minds are the ones having to get their homes foreclosed on, not the record label executives!!!
Why don't you visit a few recording studios and ask what is really going on? Didn't you just see what happened with the writers for TV shows? Where you "feeding them" too?
I am talking about common sense and yes, I am serious.
The way the industry is configured allows only for a few people at the top to make money. This system is flawed and results in even popular artists not earning what they should.
My obligation to participate in this circle of shit does not exist. I encourage every body to stop buying any media such as DVD's or CD's from retail outlets. This will result in the artists performing more live music and the record companies disappearing....
they actually think we care about them.. go ahead and try to sue me cawknokkers, cause i dont buy your shrill crappy so called ""art"".. blowhardbastards
Indie? Where is an independent artist going to get the resources to record an album? Who will write songs and give them to independent artist's whose albums will probably collect few to no royalties?

fuk tha RIAA those muthafukas. fukin kunts dat keep stalkin evry1 else. i hope their company gets invaded 4 eva so they wont sue evry1 anymore. illegal aliens.
FINES: $750 per song With fines that steep, the RIAA spokesman says "We think the majority of people will be interested in settling," Lamy says...... I say, EXTORTION!
Seriously though we need to spend money on things that matter more than music...file-sharing shouldn't be one of our primary concerns, and its sad that it is, because so many other things here could be improved and they're falling to the wayside.
GigaTribe is probably the best app as far as file sharing goes. You can let friends download directly from your harddrive, and all exchanges are encrypted...great way to exchange entire folders of files with your friends and no size limits.
If the government wanted to enslave us (which certain elements do, I have no doubt about that), they'd be trying to do it in a way that's a lot more effective than that, a way that would not only be more effective, but just as hard to understand or notice. What you wrote here is just moronic.
Illegal downloads should be called "undocumented downloads". Then President Bush and the Democrats can sign an amnesty bill for those "undocumented downloaders" that will allow them to download more undocumented files after they reboot their computer.
Instead of paying the money, you use it to buy a gun and kill any idiot lawyers representing them. Then when they come for you themselves, you take their asses out.
FUNNY ASS SHIT!!! fuck the RIAA, there full of shit. This is a good movie about the culture i guess u would call it, of getting files off the internet. They will NEVER stop or even slow down the kids getting songs, give up dicksuckers
why pay for a music producer's gold shower when u only have a white one why pay for that Fireplace in the middle of their bedroom while u only have one in your Living Room Answer me that
If you have files, share them. The more they sue, the worst they look. give it time.. they are slowly tying a rope around their necks. They're the bad guys here... Rich CEO's who drives 250,000 dollar cars, lives in mansions who sues kids... while we steal from the rich and give the data to the poor, we're like a robin hood in this war. :]
Interesting... All this illegal music downloading stuff is crazy. Personally, I use Ruckus to download music. It's free, legal, and sponsored by the university. If you guys haven't checked it out yet, do so. Granted, it doesn't have all music, but it works well enough for me.
FUCK THE FUCKING RIAA!! I'M PROUD TO BE UNSIGNED!!

No way, ten or so Ohio University students all worked on it. I hope the RIAA has seen it by now.

Did the RIAA made this video to fool us? I'm just curious because they are dominating yahoo answer with lies to trick us.

GigaTribe is probably the best app as far as file sharing goes. You can let friends download directly from your harddrive, and all exchanges are encrypted...great way to exchange entire folders of files with your friends and no size limits.

Is this a serious vid? Because.. I Dunno, it has "this is a spoof" written all over it.

Free File sharing music sites have been put on line ... by government ... so we the people would take part in; get use to.. Enjoy.
Next a warning comes, no one understands it or believes... then fines and or imprisonment.
Why put these sites on line to begin with?
Our Fascist Government seeks to enslave us.
Get informed before the net closes down.

Whatever you do, don't buy from these record labels, because it only benefits the RIAA and prolongs the downloading revolution. :)
