I can understand why someone would be offended by the term, but I also believe that people should be grown up and handle their offense professionally. Though I share your revulsion of the Clinton's, I must say that the term he used is offensive. If I were to say "I don't believe what you are saying is factually accurate", it would go over a lot better than if I were to say "I think what you are saying is complete bullshit", even though I am trying to get the same point across. However, I believe this man practiced his freedom of speech when he made the controversial statement, and I personally find it appalling that he be punished for that.

Just to be clear, his comment insulted Hillary and possibly Bill. The action of "pimping out" someone is done by someone else, in this case the Clintons who use their daughter for political gain. If he has said "whoring herself out" then that would have been an insult to Chelsea. He was actually criticizing here parents for using her inappropriately.

Do not think anyone, either in the clinton or obama camp is beyond pursuing these superdelegates and there's nothing wrong with it. Chelsea is Hilary's daughter and she has the right to assist her mom in the campaign. I do notice that overall CNN and MSNBC are negative toward Hilary and biased toward Obama.

Maybe someone should ask Chelsea what she did to earn her job as an "account manager" with a hedge fund, given the fact that she has no M.B.A. and virtually no business training. And how much of her salary does she continue to collect while she's campaigning full-time for her mother? That's a pretty sweet deal, getting paid hundreds of thousands annually to do a job you're not qualified for, and don't even have to show up for, in one of the least regulated industries in the U.S.

I think it was an inappropriate remark, and rude. But Hillary's response ("I'm a mother first"... gimme a break), obviously tailored to evoke sympathy from her female base, just demonstrates the extent to which she will do anything to get a vote. Schuster has allowed Clinton yet another way to play the "wounded" card. I guarantee her first reaction when she saw that was not "Oh, I'm so offended." It was, "yes, there's another 5 point bump in the female block."

Again, the remark was rude and a terrible thing to say. I thought I made that quite clear. Clinton has a right as a mother, naturally, to be offended, and I'm sure she was. But it's naive to think that she wouldn't also see a political opportunity in it, at the same time. The more I know about Clinton, the more I've come to believe that everything she does or says, publicly anyway, is tailored to get votes. You can call it cynicism, but I'm just calling it like I see it.

We all know that Hillary was not offended by this offhand remark. This is vintage Clinton strategy of getting attention off of the fact that Obama swept the recent primaries, in most cases by 2:1 margins.
