I think the GG's def have some issues in the wardrobe dept. if they get that takencare of things should look a liil better on thr part since its so many of them they should just work on being in sync then they should come off more appropriately to the public cuz as of now the GG"S have a bad name but i see so much potential with them so its just some minor changes that would make a major difference in this squad. i dont attend either school (SU, JSU, ASU) but I can honestly say, this ramp was horrible. the GG's may have been the first to do ramp kicks, the march was on point and very hard and i loved it., but that ramp routine was trashy, VERY trashy. they were not in sync with each other. And their choreographer was infact a gay man. It was in this time frame in which the salt-n-pepa (the walk the settes use to initiate the ramp kick) and the strut were improved under their lead. If you watch a ramp video close enough the same thing the settes are doing with their hands are the same things the majorettes are doing with batons

2nd of all, alcorn had twirlers initially and were no dancers. Asu did not even have a RAMP to perform a ramp-kick lol they stole that and many other moves from the Jsettes.

well since ALL of you GUYS are young bucks and dont know your history....ALCORN was the 1st HBCU dance team....and the RAMP KICK has been a part of their entrance b4 the J-SETTES ever came into existence...the J-settes have been known for all that buckin but they were NOT the FIRST...they WERE good for years...but now there are other teams that GIVE them HELL

The reason these 2 are always bein compared bcuz the ggs stole all of this from the jsettes...jsettes are the CEO's of buckin..lol..they started it..they started the ramp kick..they started the marchin like that..they are the originators..they have been dominatin this style of dance and shall continue..and i HIGHLY doubt the ggs did better than the jsettes in ANY category..stands or field..plus their counts aint nun but remixed jsettes counts..

the j-sette are very good and the GG's are also good. people need to stop trying to compare the two because there dancing style are not the same. to me the GG's do not try to dance like the j-sette and yall trying to say the ramp is like j-sette, well the GG's always stomp hard and kick before entering the stands, and GGs fucking did way better in the stands at CCC, they killed the j-sette in stand, I couldn't believe it but they did!!! the j-sette was fucking up big time!!!

First things first, Good job Alcorn at that game...their band sounded good as well as the GG's for a change. Secondly, i have to say that the GG's march & kicks ALMOST look identical to the jsettes. The GG's in more recent yrs seem to dance more jsette like...they never marched that hard before, but if ya cant beat 'em (the jsettes) join 'em

As Griff use to say...If they still talking about ya, you must be doing something right..Some people just only look at the GG's at CCC and if you are a Alcorn Alum or a GG's supporter you would know some of the things that were done they have been doing for years..GG's have always did a "ramp kick" at home games on the yard. Their style is not robotic as the Jsettes so I don't think they are imitating just doing what they have been doing for years. "Reading is Knowledge and History is the Key"

I have to some what agree with you...thanks to Victoria they were one of the top squads this year. She brought alot of character to the squad. However a couple of their field shows were mediocre...but yet clean and precise. I must agree with LANIER84....They have their own style...but no originality....but i am a fan of Vicky...
