Actually guinea pig bones are pretty sturdy, their joints may wear out but they're pretty sturdy. Their immune system is a little weak but they're not like rabbits, rabbits are made of glass.

@wolfpup5000 Hi I use clicker training with horses and when I saw this comment I thought that it might be worth a try. Clicker training is simple to use and you dont always have to use treats. First of all get a target this can be anthing your guinea pig is likly to touch. When your guinea pig touches it click and give him a treat. Soon he will learn that the click means something nice is coming, It is very affective because the click marks the behaviour you want and the food reforces it.

Aw please be careful with your piggy... She may seem like she enjoys it, but guinea bones are very fragile. This is the same reason why your guinea should never run in a "hamster ball" like the guinea-sized ones that PetSmart/Co sells... they wear out the joints of the piglet, causing serious pain and weakness later in life. Just be careful. I know you are anxious to "break records" but don't let your girl hurt herself!!

@thatlorigirl Actually, when it comes to the exercise balls, it isn't so much the joints and bones in terms of how fragile they are. It has more to do with the way the ball forces an unnatural curvature of the spine, bowing it in a direction that can cause damage over time. Still, a good drop can break bones. And in the case of leaping, landing wrong could cause sprains at the very least.
