@John15ism If you look at the plots of the X-Men movies so far with things like "the cure" or the creation of Deadpool, they definitely seem like things that Apocalypse could have been the ultimate architect of. I could see him like Xerxes in 300-tall, but not superhumanly huge, and with a deep, mesmerizing kind of voice, and a very ancient Egyptian/Persian look about him.

@dc3fan2003 actually the other x-men are in the mansion, while storm was with prof. x when apocalypse attacked him. if the x-men were with prof x, they would've done the same thing as Storm. Jean grey actually wanted to come with Storm of Prof. X, but he did not let her. however if she did come apocalypse couldve turned her to one of the four horsemen instead of storm, whom i believe will be much more powerful than her (she's an omega level and might unleash the phoenix)

Apoc on the other hand has a philosophy that will never be irrelevant "survival of the fittest" & it can be interpretated in 1000 ways .he's the archnemesis of cable a mighty mutant with a cripling disease

apocalypse on the other is far more complex in mind & power that when used you must write him epicly! shitty writing has harmed him while his fight with cable (underrated as he is) should have been the focus of a great epic saga

Magneto and the Brotherhood shouldn't ALWAYS be the X-Men's focus. I'd love to see something with those guys who live underground (Morlocks I wanna say) that would be great for a threat the X-Men face in a movie or show. Apocalypse should've been in Last Stand and he needs an origins movie :0

@kitten287. Exactly! Evan is a rip off of Marrow and since Storm took a back seat in this series, Evan was like the token black character. Even worse, they had Evan join the team before Iceman, who's suppose to be one of the original five X-Men. I'm all for alternate storylines, but at least be consistent. I like the Marvel characters more than DC's, but I've noticed that DC has good continuity with its series. Justice League was better done than XmenEvo. I guess the 90s X-Men series was a fluke

I hated this series. Nightcrawler was a hippie versus a devout Christian, Storm was weak and many times we see Cyclops' optic blasts, which are suppose to be heatless, burning stuff.

Even here, we don't see Apocalypse using his 'technological superpowers'. There was too much Scott and Jean as well and the teenage feel was very annoying. In my opinion, the one from the 90's was the best.

I often pretend this series never existed. Wolverine and the X-Men was okay, but WOLVERINE SHOULD NEVER LEAD

@jkq2 Nightcrawler has always been a fun-loving swashbuckler who was just a bit religious, this show was the swashbuckler while TAS focused ONLY on the religion. Neither show gets him totally. Scott's eye-beams make stuff catch fire because of friction, and Scott-Jean were NEVER more annoying than in TAS.

This show actually bothered making the Institution a school, which TAS never did, and was faithful to the spirit of the original 60s comics. I liked it.

is it just me, or does apocalypse's power of "destroying" Storm and Xavier seem very similar to Jean Grey (Dark Phoenix)'s powers in X-Men 3 (X-Men United)? At the end of the movie, Dark Phoenix was "Erasing/Destroying" people from existence. In the cartoon series, this scene for example, Apocalypse is doing the same thing. Jean Grey (Dark Phoenix) and Apocalypse both have the power to "Destroy/Erase" people or anything from existence. This is my observation and opinion. Anybody agree?

@rrr11210 I disagree, apoc. did not destroy storm or the prof, he simply put them away to play with them later. the prof., storm, magneto, and mystique all become his horsemen. and as for the destroying thing. I don't think that is what the dark phoenix did, my guess is since everyone who play host to the force gain telekenetic abilities I think what she did was pull apart their cells or molecules(or whatever). that is only my opinion though. (i look things up at comicvine a lot)

This is close to how I would envision a movie version of Apocalypse: rejecting the more complicated parts of his backstory to stick to the guts of him as one of the first mutants to ever emerge in history who later merged with alien technology and regards himself as the future of humanity, arrogantly rejecting any idea otherwise.

@solomonkilliebrew22 One thing you have to realize about the charts is that strength of 7 simply means that someone can lift over 100 tons. It does not tell their limit though. So Apocalypse may be able to lift 250 tons where as Galactus could be able to lift over 1,000 tons. Same goes for everything that is a 7. It simply tells you the least amount a person is capable of but the max could be worlds apart. Unfortunately Poc is no match for Galactus
