what do you think he would be lip singing too? His own recorded voice? as it's not the orginal singers. Some videos may look like this it's a timing thing with the uploads of picture and sound, but his seemed pretty good. I've even seen the uploads of the talent shows looking like lip singing because of the timing.

Harmonizing is when there are multiple voice parts at once.

Like when a guitarist plays a chord on the guitar.. There are about six notes or so that sound good together, and together they are a chord.

It's many strings coming together to sound like one.

Harmonizing is essentially the same thing, but with voices instead of strings.

Does that make more sense? Or have I further confused you?

If you know a pianist, try asking one of them.

Most of the notes they play are in people's vocal ranges, and the notes THEY use for chords can easily be done with voices, I think. I'm not sure. I can ask one! :D
