Hey this is the first video I've seen on youtube about the TurboGrafx. My parents got me one when I was a kid. Wasn't Raiden a game on it? I of course played the sh** out of Keith Courage and Blood Wulf. I also had Gunboat. I'm not sure if I played Castlevania on the TurboGrafx or on something else, but that was a great game!
Man I fucking miss classic games. As nice as xbox 360 or PS3 is graphics wise, I just miss the way these crappy graphics look, the amazing music, the smile on your face when you got to the end of the game. EVERYTHING WAS MORE AWESOME!

In my opinion Bloody Wolf sucks and Legendary Axe II is horrible. What happened to Neutopia , Dragon's Curse, and Dragon Spirit?!?! Neutopia and Dragon's Curse are both great and Dragon Spirit is one of the best games on the system! And what about Alien/Devil's Crush? This list is missing some great games.

But i really love the way you put this together, the video editing and all that was very well done would like to see you do this with other system. Great job on the video.

Why does everyone hate Double Dungeons so much? Compared to other first-person RPGs, it's actually pretty good because it's much easier to play than most other games of this type. I guess you have to be a fan of the genre, but geez, this game needs more love.

It's funny. Back in the day, everyone discredited the TG16 for having an 8-bit processor. Now, people are returning to the TG-16 instead of the other 16-bit consoles -- for fun's sake.
TG-16 games play like NES games but have the flashy colorful look of Neo Geo games -- the best of both worlds.
I could barely tell the difference between 16-bits and 8-bits. But I surely can SEE the difference between the 256 colors TG16 and 64 colors Genesis. Compare Ghouls N Ghost to see. TOO LATE, SADLY
@signupsigma Ghouls N Ghost was on the SuperGrafx and NOT the TG16. The SuperGrafx had a whopping 5 games and was an utter failure. You can barely see the difference between 16 and 8 bit and you think the TG16 looks even a fraction as good as a Neo Geo game? You really shouldn't post such utter uninformed foolishness. It really makes you look silly.
Legendary Axe 2 always pissed me off. It was so different from the original it should have been a completely different IP. And plus, Loincloths > Speedos. I mean really now.
I actually liked Keith Courage, at least some aspects of it. The music and sound effects are so different from any other game I've played, and I like the big sprites and colors for the time. I wouldn't put it in my top 10, but I wish it wasn't put at the bottom of the pile. China Warrior was ok too if you played it enough to progress.
So Bonk is not on your list just "because it's on everyone's list?!" Yeah you know why it's on everyone else's lists? BECAUSE IT'S THAT GOOD OF A GAME. Leaving it off your list just because it's "everyone else's favorite" doesn't make any fucking sense. The Bonk games for TG16 ARE the BEST, period...your list of favorites is missing some very OBVIOUS great games.
Turbo Grafx market scale is highly a bit. Winner are Sega and Nintendo. But, in Japan, PC Engine is silver medalist. Released of console about 7000,000.

Keith Courage?? That is such a mediocre game. That game would not even crack my top 100 T-16 list. And that's saying something because there were 138 turbografx games released in the US. You left out key games like Neutopia, Bonk's, Zonk, and Military Madness.
I am pretty much assuming that you have never played Keith Courage. It is such an incredibly lame game. It is boring as hell to play and very repititous. It deserves the bad rep that it gets since NEC refused to replace it with another pack in game. There were other vastly superior games such as Bonk's, Legendary Axe, Blazing Lazers over this steaming pile of crap. But who am I kidding, you don't know what I'm talkin' about.
Well I have played it and enjoyed the game play, along with the artwork. Even so, I never had to play the game to make that comment, everyone is different and can have their own top 10 list. Your key games arnt everyone elses.

People shoud know that this is NOT how the games actually looked.
The video here shows an emulator with an activated Hi-Res Smoother. The originals are more pixely (which gives them character).
I find this video misleading for people not in the know about the PC-Engine / TG16.

So Bonk is not on your list just "because it's on everyone's list?!" Yeah you know why it's on everyone else's lists? BECAUSE IT'S THAT GOOD OF A GAME. Leaving it off your list just because it's "everyone else's favorite" doesn't make any fucking sense. The Bonk games for TG16 ARE the BEST, period...your list of favorites is missing some very OBVIOUS great games.

I could never get into Keith Courage... there really wasn't much to the game. Felt like the same thing over and over. Ninja Spirit was awesome, though.

Keith Courage?? That is such a mediocre game. That game would not even crack my top 100 T-16 list. And that's saying something because there were 138 turbografx games released in the US. You left out key games like Neutopia, Bonk's, Zonk, and Military Madness.

I am pretty much assuming that you have never played Keith Courage. It is such an incredibly lame game. It is boring as hell to play and very repititous. It deserves the bad rep that it gets since NEC refused to replace it with another pack in game. There were other vastly superior games such as Bonk's, Legendary Axe, Blazing Lazers over this steaming pile of crap. But who am I kidding, you don't know what I'm talkin' about.

Well I have played it and enjoyed the game play, along with the artwork. Even so, I never had to play the game to make that comment, everyone is different and can have their own top 10 list. Your key games arnt everyone elses.
