oh preety cool i plan on going fishing there this weekend whats it like? i live in hamilton so i was gunna head up to 20 mile creek but it looks like its worth to try there
20 mile is a good spot too. I fished Elk Creek under a railroad tressle and the water was really low, so the trout were spooked easily. We caught all of our fish in places where the water was murky and they couldn't see us. I recommend trying near the Walnut Creek boat access, they were hammering the steelhead there cause it's deep and murky. Its really late in the season though, they aren't running that much anymore so the next two weeks will probably be the end of the season. Good Luck!

There are still steelheads in the creeks in May, but no one fishes for them.
