I never intended or meant to say Vk was a music genre if youre upset with that. And they're not trying to be japanese. They were inspired by Visual kei Besides, i never said i like them. I dont like their music as much as you do (if you do hate 'em) I just like this one song.

Hun. I'm in an all girl j-rock/rock band. Tokio Hotel is NOT Visual Kei inspired but Cinema Bizarre is. They even said so and said that without VK and their love of it as well as anime, they would have never met.

Visual Kei is a sub-genre, love. It covers music from japan or influenced by japanese music that falls in the glam rock, rock, or metal categories.

It's not 'trying to be japanese'. It's having an influence of VK. If you're such a 'jrocknerd', you should've known.

@KyoLover2011 what we're all trying to do is classify visual kei in terms of our own english music genres. first of all, visual kei refers to a style, not a solid genre of music. it is influenced by anything and everything, and you can probably fit into 100 or 0 known categories of vk depending on how you think in terms of influence. in the end, classification doesn't mean much...

@andeyanen it is the style in music that covers the glam rock (which is a style all it's own), rock or metal genres. It is based loosely on kabuki and 80's hair bands.
