Keekee is so adorable. Its amazing how birds respond to music.. they love it! I work with parrots and always push for us to get a yellow nape, but I am told they are the more aggressive of the amazons (esp the males).. oh well. I certainly will have one some day. I love your videos!

I don't know what Kia was singing! She made up that tune as she was bopping her head in time to the music. She stopped when I asked her to rap. In the past she's made up a tune that she just keeps repeating "Oh Well!" This time, I don't know what she's saying. Next time I'll just catch her and not request anything and see what she's going to sing.

Hey, Cali, You're right, not all Amazons are cuddly. Kia is not cuddly at all. She even growls a little, but I just understand her. I still handle her daily, have her do step-ups and pet her and tell her she is a good bird. No scritches, tho.
